This is a rich piece -- lots of color and story. I like the tiger's expression, that slightly fearful "I trust you know what you're doing, but what are you doing to me?" that anybody who ever allowed a friend to make them over probably has. That said, he's still recognizably an animal, which has sometimes bugged me on some of the cutesy animal pictures. The girls are smiling in an amused but reassuring way, probably telling him how gorgeous he'll look when he's done.
I love Indian motifs, and there's so many of them here -- tiger's "stripes" are like mehendi or the painting on festive elephants, the pattern on the green dupatta looks just like what I see when I browse for saree.
