I'd love to hear your thoughts first. Then I can share my crazies with you.

It looks like a dual-exposure upon closer inspection. I would guess that the 'sparkles' are fireworks. More than what the photo is, though, I want to know what your motivation was and what that expression means!

Haha, that is exactly what I meant by my question... how you interpreted it.
I don't generally get too conceptual because I find that it often becomes forced or quite cheesy. But for this shot, I couldn't help but give it a narrative about death. The death of what? I'm not exactly sure. It could be that of the subject, but I like to think of it as more the death of a memory or of something that is past. And I didn't want it to feel morbid, but instead alive.
~Lecura hit the spot. He is closing his eyes and the explosions around him are what we see of his memory.

I don't know where I'm going with this. It's late and I'm rather delusional.

No, I definitely get that. It reminds me of a supernova. Like the death of a memory that once had a lot of weight or importance... perhaps equivalent to 'letting go'. Anyway, I love it. You can do no wrong, Antonio

It's woodlandsy and mysterious.
It kind of seems to me like he's remembering and missing a place that used to be home and everything around his face is what we can see of his memory.
Might sound stupid, but that's what I saw after looking at it for a while.

Oh my, no, that is a really beautiful interpretation. Love it!

Thank you
