For Christmas this year, I drew a chibi for each of my closest friends. All were hand drawn, but I decided I wanted to make digital versions, too, for the fun of it
So this is the first one, a chibi dragon for my friend Edith. I made her a dragon last year, too: [link]
We had a huge thing for the three first Eragon books some years ago, I have bought the fourth, but haven't read it yet, a bit anxious about the end o:
For Saphira's looks, I was partly inspired by the Eragon cover art, partly by her appearance in the movie. Don't really know if I can call this one a chibi, though, or if it's just a small blue dragon
(Oh, and I finished this before the new year, that's why it says "2011" in the signature x3 )

I finally read the last book, and I wasn't as disappointed as I'd feared that I would be c: It seems like the author will have to make more books set in that world, at least, about what happens later^^ But there'll be no more books about Eragon and Saphira, and that's no fun :c

Yeah, exactly. I also remember the ending was completely different from the book. I remember thinking that there was no way they'd be able to create a second movie based on how badly the ending was. Because the book transitions between one and two really fluidly, and the ending of the movie wouldn't do that at all.

Mhm,either they didn't really plan it well at all, or they gave up the idea, therefore deliberately ending the first one in a way which did not allow a continuation
