And, as he steps into fatherhood, Timon is yet again reminded of his many sleepless nights in the jungle with little Simba. Albeit, even Simba's appetite for grubs was no match for Lina's. No matter how much she's fed, she's never satiated. xDAnyways, Timon would make an absolutely great father and no one can take that away from me.
The holiday season has been really hard, guys. I miss my dad so very much, so you might be seeing more drawings in the near future exploring Timon and Lina's relationship. Its been acting as sort of a balm for my soul, if you will. (This is my first detailed painted background in a long while, so please be gentle on me guys LOL)

I would never call your ability to draw Timon “crude.” I think you’ve got him down-pat... he always looks perfectly on-model, anatomy and expressions included!!

They are actually visiting a neighboring meerkat colony, with Timon as a diplomat—so, they are underground in a “guest” bedding area. ^.^

Your artworks of Timon always look great but this one is so touching
I am deeply sorry to learn that you have lost your dad. I still have my two parents but I lost my fiancé more than one year and a half now. I know the atrocious pain of losing a loved one and I wish you the best of luck to find something in your life that can make this pain easier to deal with with time. If drawing and painting does that to you, then keep doing it as much as you can

I'm so sorry for your lose. For me and my dad it was the first Christmas without my mom, so I know how you feel. I wish loved ones could live forever. Or visit us from time to time as ghosts and have a chat.

This was my second Christmas without Dad, but really the first full year of my life without him. The hurt just never goes away, it seems.
Im so sorry about your mom though—I can’t even imagine my life without my mom. *hugs*
I like to believe that our loved ones can watch over us from beyond—it’s quite a comfort to me. I’ve been visited by Dad in my dreams a few times already, but that’s all. I’d like to see him more.
