Wanted to do a quick redesign for Kirari since I didn't really like her other design, so here's a new one! I'm statisfied now~

Background: Kirari grew up in the countryside alongside her older sister Hoshino and her parents. They weren’t exactly a very wealthy family, and she was forced to help out her family with work so they could earn enough money. Her father had always wanted a son, but ended up getting two daughters instead. Their family simply couldn’t support a third child, so a little brother was out of the question. While growing up, Kirari was practically raised as a boy to make up for the son that never happened. Her older sister eventually got sick of Kirari being treated this way, and took a stand against their father to prove that females had just as much potential as males. Shortly afterward, Hoshino left home to become a demon slayer, leaving Kirari on her own. Once she turned 13, Kirari had made up her mind on following in her sister’s footsteps, having kept in contact with her via Hoshino’s messenger raven. She adapted to the heavy training quicker than she expected, due to having done difficult work when she was younger.
