Alice Maiden gasped as she felt her opponent's glove twist into her gut, her abs aching as pain flew through her abdomen. She didn't know how much more she could take, but she knew she just had to last a little bit longer. She looked up at her opponent with her one good eye, her left eye having swollen shut somewhere in the ninth round. Deborah Bispo wasn't looking too hot either. The Brazilian cat girl could barely see, both her eyes nearly shut due to the damage she'd sustained over the past several rounds. Alice felt the ropes brush against her back as she parried a weary left hook from Deb, just now realizing her position in the ring. She knew that if she stayed trapped here, Deb would be able to land a few decisive blows and send her off to dream land. Deb forced a tired smile as she advanced, her guard up as the Bookworm readied her own defenses, "Y- You're fun to punch." Deb panted as she threw out a trio of straights, all of which plowed into Alice's defenses.

Alice could feel her arms getting heavy, but she saw her chance as her opponent's last punch impacted her forearms. With a loud cry, Alice suddenly lurched forward, plowing a heavy uppercut right into the Brazilian girl's belly! Deborah's barely visible eyes widened ever so slightly as her cheeks puffed out, "Uff!" The battered cat girl's shoulders drooped and her body leaned against Alice's arm, the Bookworm could feel Deb's stomach give against her gloved fist. Pressing her attack, Alice followed up with a left hook to the cheek that sent Deb's head snapping to the side, a spray of saliva flying from her lips. The anthropomorphic girl staggered back, stunned by the unprotected blow. Alice put everything she had into a final offense. She lunged forward, slamming a pair of alternating uppercuts to Deb's solar plexus, forcing the cat girl to gag as the strikes dug in deep! Deborah attempted to hunch over and clutch her wonderfully aching abs, only to see a green blur rise up and catch her square on the nose, sending her gaze skyward for a moment, her heels lifting off the ground for a moment!

Deborah Bispo slammed back onto her heels, her body sagging as she just barely managed to stay on her feet, blood trickling from her nose. Alice could feel herself starting to fall, having run herself ragged with those punches. She could see the clock behind Deborah ticking down to the last few seconds of the 12th round. She needed to end this here and now. Alice moved in close to Deb, the two of them gazed at one another for a split second through bruised and swollen eyes. Their fists cocked back, each preparing a final blow to finish each other off! The blows flew in, but only one struck. Alice felt her opponent's glove graze past her cheek, feeling the sudden sting as the blow opened a small cut on her cheek. Deborah only saw the color green engulf her vision for a moment as Alice's right cross caught her across the chin.

CRACK!

Deborah's head rattled as her body began to collapse, her last moment of consciousness was of spinning colors and lights as her body twisted to the floor, landing in a heap at Alice's feet. The bloodied Bookworm stumbled backwards into the ropes, her chest heaving as she did everything she could to keep her shaking legs under her. The referee was quick to move in, counting out the downed Brazilian woman as Alice struggled to stay upright.

"1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... 9... 10!!! She's out! She's out!"

Alice raised a trembling arm in victory as she stared down at her unconscious opponent, the feeling of victory combined with the overwhelming respect she had for her opponent.

"IN AN AWE-INSPIRING DISPLAY BY THESE TWO COMBATANTS, THE WINNER OF TONIGHT'S BOUT IS, ALICE MAIDEEEEEEN!!!"

The crowd roared in applause as Alice felt herself slipping to the floor, "G- Good... fight..." she mumbled before crumpling to the floor beside her opponent.

So this is something I've been wanting to do for a very long time. is one of the first artists I came across when I first joined this site six whole years ago. He was a rather big inspiration for me alongside many other talented artists. I'm really happy that I was finally able to have our characters meet in the ring! I hope you all like the little story I wrote for this fantastic piece, and I hope you all go check out his page if you haven't already!
