Naledi is a water mage who came from an originally respected and well-off family in the east. They, sadly, were forced into poverty after a lingering sickness clung to the earth after the age of Azaria. Her family became sick and medicine was very expensive. Seeing as she had a talent for water magic, when Naledi became of age she left home to become a velkellor beast hunter (which is a challenging but well-paying job) and trained her self-taught skill into a beast-slaying weapon. She was slowly able to support her family this way.
Nal has had a love for fine clothing and jewelry since she was young. It made her feel confident and beautiful and her mother desperately tried to hang on to the last pieces of fine clothing and gold she owned in her name because she loved how tall and strong her daughter stood in them.
She has a pistol for a mouth and dagger-like glare that struck down all of her rivals in the training academy. She isn’t afraid to be ruthless to let others know she means business and is able to sweet-talk and half-truth her way to get what she wants. However, also has a nurturing side to her and loves to help out those who are close to her.
