Sorry I saw your message and there was a tornado warning. Huge balls of hail..and huge winds and so much lightning and thunder. It seems it did touch down about a mile away from here as I see a huge fire and billowing smoke.I hope no harm to anyone!!!!
Got to check around my house right now if any damage is there...Isnt life great!!!!!

That it is. It's a very interesting view from an airliner turning onto final at SLC airport. When we visited in 1972, we made a (very) tight left hand turn onto final for runway 34 (now 34R). The pilot rolled the 727 90º left to make the turn. Interesting experience. Definitely the "E Ticket" part of the trip.

I love flying. Getting to the plane is a pain but once you're in the air, assuming you're riding up front with the grown-ups, it's not bad. I'm old enough to remember when flying was nice and you actually got dressed up to go on a plane. I got to fly on one of the first Pan Am 747's in service coming home from
a family vacation in Europe in 1970. A rather unforgettable experience.
