Wanted to try out a bit more heavily stylized way again, for this was originally inspired by Ivan Bilibin's russian fairytale illustrations. I don't think I managed to nail the style all the way, but I still quite like the outcome, especially the tail and the overall swirlyness.Black Staedtler pigment liner, tea, watercolors.

I love this so much?? It's a long inside joke, but I have a thing for Russian dogs and that's what drew me in. This is such beautiful image, and I love the tarot card feel of it. I feel like I would find this tucked away in an old book that is yellowed and musty, lost forever in a used bookshop. This is a wonderful piece of work.

I love the fact that this is inspired by russian fairytale illustrations and the canine in he picture looks like a Borzoi, otherwise known as a Russian wolfhound 
And after I saw this it made me want to look the artist up, I really like the fantasy kind of stlye on this picture, and the way the steam from the tea floats up to make the border

This is absolutely gorgeous. I like this heavily stylized method, its so unique and intriguing. I never would have guessed it was watercolors!
