An sich ein sehr beeindruckendes Foto, beunruhigend, drΓΌckend.

I love foggy mornings, everything looks different in a mysterious and beautiful way Other morning I woke up and I just had to run out on my balcony to capture the fog with my camera

yes, I had the same feeling this morning too, honestly I am in little camera-crisis right now ... but this morning just right poked me to grap my cam.

oh, camera-crisis is never a good thing, it's good we have these kinda days to give us a little push in the right direction
Browsing your gallery at the mo Looks great!

uffff ... thanks a lot for taking this time. i made a strange way in the photography: i started analogue and where excited about buying my digital slr ... and finally came back now to analogue because my digital one is more my "learning-cam"
i also paint and draw ... but those works I took out of my gallery.
more you can also find on my portfolio here: [link]

Of course, I like looking at good art
Yeah, I agree, digital is like sketching and analogue is the final product Sadly I don't have an analogue camera
I'll have a look! Thanks

if you are really interesting in buying an analogue camera ... i say check online-shops like ebay ... and look for exa or praktica - those are analogue metall cameras, you can hardly destroy them and they expect a bit knowledge about photography but at the end they are wonderful - even when they are completely manuell - in my exa i dont even have a light metre. but its very much fun.
almost all of my analogue photos are take with my exa 1b and my boyfriend uses praktice mtl 5 - both cameras I can recommend and which shouldnt be so expensive.

Thanks! I will look that up! I wish I could have my own lab too! I love developing

CanisLupusMoon In reply to sufe147 [2009-10-19 22:02:36 +0000 UTC]

i am also thinking about this. developing has becoming just too expensive.
in case of analogue cams I say ... i prefer those metall ones, I also have an analogue canon but I prefer my exa because I know its unbreakable and its more true - it shows me what i can and what not.

sufe147 In reply to CanisLupusMoon [2009-10-19 22:39:12 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, it's such a shame. Same thing with polaroid..
I'm already looking at ebay, oh I'd love one!
I do like when photography is more of a handicraft and not only a "click"!

CanisLupusMoon In reply to sufe147 [2009-10-20 05:39:00 +0000 UTC]

yes - indeed. but with digital cams everybody can make shots. this is boring me a lot.
I prefer to go an own way and try different things: I am shooting black and white (when I see I also try to check different films than Ilford, so far I had a wonderful TURA professional with gorgeous sharpness and contrast) and also on cheapest colour films I can get which make a fine effect with my old camera. (: But I also have a bit a break ... because development is just so expensive - I am always saving with making photos because of it.

This sounds like so much fun, experimenting with films and cameras! I wish I could develop photos myself, it's so fun to be there through the whole process. I hope the analogue technique wont disappear :/ .

CanisLupusMoon In reply to sufe147 [2009-10-22 21:21:41 +0000 UTC]

Yes! Indeed. I hope this either ... I always have such a strong fear when photographers were I bring my films laugh at me and ask why I am not analogue.

:/

When I was in school, just a couple of years ago, we had lots of analogue photography. The teacher we had is old now and doesnt work there anymore and the new one thinks its slow and boring. So I think they do almost only digital at my old school now, so sad.

CanisLupusMoon In reply to sufe147 [2009-10-25 10:24:35 +0000 UTC]

lucky you, you had photography in school at all ... because my school was a mainly scientific orientated one ... and so they didnt "waste" their time with such stuff. :>

sufe147 In reply to CanisLupusMoon [2009-10-25 10:58:42 +0000 UTC]

I never liked people who thinks art isnt important and "a waste of time" haha
I was in an art program so I got to try most things, which I am very happy for Photography was the best one I think. We had so much fun in that developing room! Photoshop and a computer could never be as fun as that

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

CanisLupusMoon In reply to sufe147 [2009-10-27 06:27:42 +0000 UTC]

In my school we had a laboratory, but the photoclub itself was dead, because money missed for projects ... but I asked the teacher to show mw the room and I checked it and yes, I had the plan to use it and lear how to develop, but then I didn't have enough time. :/ but I am still planning - and now I have an own flat and no wondow in the bathroom ... so my boyfriend and me we are plotting now. i only firstly need to learn it. :>

Aw, shame you didnt have time to do it while at school.. but yay for bathrooms without windows! You should really really do it! Its so much funnn! We used to listen to radio and dance around while developing (ahh happy memories! ) Good luck! Hope you'll do it You'll have to tell me how it goes
