February 2005 marked the completion of Christo and Jeanne-Claude's wonderous project The Gates.[link]
Love it or hate it. Seems there was no middle ground.
We had an absolutely wonderful time seeing it and walking through it and seeing
huge amounts of people enjoying Central Park at a time when it would otherwise
have been pretty deserted.
This is looking towards The Dakota.
