Description Whoops was shot on March Tenth.
Whoops Part Two shot on June Twenty Ninth.
Doesn't look like things are getting any better.
And people still live there.
I have a feeling there's something impending down the road.

UPDATE:Β Just noticed.. the brickwork below this is bulging outward.
I think it's only a matter of time before it gives way.
A heavy rain might do it.

Okay, all joking aside, someone needs to call the local building inspector or someone similar; this is dangerous. The falling debris could hurt and possibly kill someone if they fall on a person, not to mention the more bricks that are lost the less stable the building becomes; it could collapse and kill everyone inside. Seriously report this to the authorities.Β

I'm pretty sure the proper authorities know what's going on.
There is a scafolding in front going out over the sidewalk placed there by the city)
to prevent any future debris from falling onto it.
I don't think the bulding itself is unstable, just the brick face.

I have a feeling the poeple won't leave there untilΒ they absolutely have to.
I'm gonna have to post the pix of what it looked like the day it came down,
and what it looks like now.Β I don't think the building itself is in danger of
a complete collapse, But I do think more bad rain could continue to make
more of the facing to come off.

I hate to say it about them, but the people who live there

are kinda the trailer trash of the neighborhood..Β Good people, though.

the real estate ad doesn't quite look like your pic!Β  Maybe there's a duplicate address....

CapnDeek373 In reply to finhead4ever [2015-07-09 23:08:31 +0000 UTC]

The address is right. And the views from the windows in those shots do look about right for the neighborhood,
I'll have to go up to my own roof to take another look. Then I could tell if those shots are correct for the address.
www.zillow.com/homedetails/100…

The building in my shot IS 100 Washington Ave,
but the bulding started in the "Bird's Eye View" is NOT 100.
Gonna go down to the street right now and check the address of the bulding starred in the ad.

I think there is (or at least was). That's why I think it reads as "off the market"
Somebody might have caught on.

That would require perfect timing.
I could aways sit and wait on one of the park benches across the street during a big storm.

I figured it out. The building with the brickwork falling off is 100.
The building in the ad (if it's legit) is 104.
The views from the windows in the ad seem a little too high up to be either address.
The ad is wrong.

Could be a scam or somebody just not paying attention to what they're doing.
I Just went down to take another look.
The adress on the building with the failing brickwork is 100.
The building in the ad says 100, but is mostdefinately NOT 100.
The "Bird's Eye" view marked on the map in the ad is actually 104,
The photo views in the ad looks about right from nearby locations,
but 104 has no windows facing in the directions seen,
and the views seem a bit too high up from anywheres nearby.
I'm not going to worry about the ad. It does say "Off Market"
so maybe somebody did realize something's amiss with the ad.

I'm wondering how long it will actually go on.
There's an ad for the building, but it doesn't show the outside,
and I have a feeling that what they show for the inside isn't true...

The city put up scafolding to keep stuff from landing on pedestrains.
No idea what the landlord is doing about it.
