My entry for .Holy crap, that armor was so difficult to draw and color!
Anyway, this contest gave me a chance to draw my Dwarf Noble, Safira Aeducan, who just became commander of Orzammar and all bloodied up after fighting some darkspawn (before Bhelen betrays your ass

I like the contrast of her smiling cheerfully and posing like she's being photographed or having a painting made and that she's covered in the blood of her enemies while doing so, like "yep, this is exactly how I want to be remembered by future generations."
Also lovely details on the armor.

Great work with the blood splatter. I'm playing a Dwarf Noble as well. I love the storyline immensly than that of the Human noble. Also you say who used a pencil, an eraser and a pen. But why does it not look like traditional art. Did you add some gloss to it in photoshop?

I use pencil and eraser for the sketch and then inked the sketch with a pen for the line art (I can't draw using a tablet if my life depended on it.

Oh so it was an outline first and then you digtially added color. Its really good job. I would like to see more Dwarven pictures from you, Aimo seems to dominate the searches a bit too much. Her art style is nice but a little too girlish not realistic(For the universe) enough.

Love Lady Aeducan in all her incarnations! Probably my second favorite origin story, after City Elf (it's got that whole Braveheart appeal, ya know).
