^_^I did this when I was in my FFX obsession. It's sort of subsided now, but I still love Wakka. He was by far my favourite male character. :-D
Doesn't he just look so adorable here? I want to hug him.

On the one hand, Wakka is *all* looks (he comes off as sort of dumb, and a bigot to boot). On the other hand, my boyfriend looks more like Wakka than like any other FF character in terms of physique, etc. Oh, well...nice image.

Hmm...you're one of the few people that I've ever met (uh seen ^_^; ) that actually likes Wakka. He wasn't too bad nearing the end of the game. I'm glad he turned unprejudice by then.

Yeah, I will eventually be redoing Wakka seeing as this pic is sooo old and you're right - there's something not quite right about it. I'd just like to update it anyway considering the quality of these chibies has improved vastly over the years.

where'd you learn to draw that good? is there a book, or do you just practice and find your own style?

I've never used a book. I don't think books are helpful. When you use a book, you're basically copying someone elses style. I think experimentation and lots and lots of practise is the way to go. When you draw enough, you start to develop your own style on your own - it just happens and before you know it you have a style. I didn't even think I had developed a style but then people would say "Oh wow, I love your style." and was like "Hey, I guess I DO have one!" I don't think it's something you can force.
