I drew these two back in December but never got around to finishing it until now. This is sort of a scene from my Book Four: Air - Chapter Three [link]Zuko receives a summons from his advisers back in the Fire Nation. Toph's running around somewhere off screen, eating overpriced appetizers.

People forget that cartoons are made by adults 
They really have no idea what they're missing, but at the same time it wouldn't appeal to them if they've set themselves against it in their heads.

Sure. Cartoons made by adults. And some have jokes that kids not even get. OK, the first Shrek movie was like that... with all the adult innuendo jokes. Sadly, each follow up movie was less good than the last.

Yeah, too many sequels are like that... they should stop after the first one.
As much as we love Avatar, there's a possibility that a continuation series or season would have been not as good as the first three. Especially since Bryke only planned on a trilogy. I really admire them for setting out with clear goals and stopping no matter what the level of popularity was at the end.
Fortunately we've still got comics and maybe those 1 hr specials and the live action movies to look forward to.

It's quite commonplace in Japan. Just last night I had to stealth out to the garbage collection area so no ninjas spotted me breaking a few garbage disposal rules (Japan garbage sorting is a pain...).
