Description
Whether it be for game or hack or animation use, I'm still working on Aero's Critical strike. This was as far as I got. I'm thinking of doing the overused giant energy sword charge-and-strike, but I'd like to do something more original than that.Some inspiration from MVC and Guilty Gear.

The potrait coming in is awesome! I've wanted to do that, but I'd like it to do that with like all the characters... like in FE: Awakening, but that'll probably never work... But doing it like this would allow it to work with just the lords since they'll have custom animations... This is really cool!

It wasn't that hard actually. I just made a fullbody, cropped it, then recolored it to whatever colors were closest in my battle sprite palette.

Yah sure, if you have an idea, throw it out if you'd like. As for spriting FE, I find it's a mixed bag, some stuff's easier than others.

How about the addiction of an animal companion to attack altogether? Like a wolf or whatever you like more. Or a Technnique unique to him.

I'm not sure throwing an animal into the attack would feel right, since this is meant to be a display of just how much power Aero has (and to show you how badass he is with his own Hyper Combo portrait). I did have a similar idea, but I'm already working on that for a different animation.

I see then. Alright. The Critical could be him doing crazy things with the sword...Like Throwing it up in the air then going melee on the opponent and when the sword is about to hit the ground he'd grab it and give it an upward slash.

I really do already have the frames lol. I've done lots of physical attack sprites for Aero, so I could do something like that.

Seeing all this cool stuff makes me want to try spriting again, thought it seems I have gotten a lot lazier in the past few years lol
The motion of sticking the sword into the ground looks like it could be more fluid, but with how amazing the rest of it is, that pause could be intentional.

Yah, there definitely needs to be some changes made. Luckily I've learned a thing or two more about animating since I made this. I just really wish I knew how to end it.
