Description
This is a group of anti-heroes who are more 'hero' than they like to believe. Theteam was a splinter group the Effectives. They were brought together by a global
crisis where all of the Earth's established heroes were taken off world by the Dark Order, led by Carrion. The Effectives defeated the Dark Order and rescued all of the superheroes. After which the so-called hard core members left after feeling they deserved better acknowledgement from Earth's heroes after the rescue, in particular from the Assault League and the (Eur/Asian) Crusaders. A career as 'superheroes' were not in their cards, despite the fact that, as a team, they have saved the world on more than one occasion. Devastation Inc. have been known to take a few government co/ops missions for the right price, and they are not above conducting a first strike on any villain that may stray too close in their field of influence. Weather said villain has done any wrong doings or not!

Thanks. All of the OC's are frinds of mine. Most have kids of their
own now, but I met all of them as children...some in my Scouts!

All the guys in this piece were kids when we meet. Most of them
were in my Boy Scout troop when I was a Scout Master.
As boys they got a kick out of seeing their characters on paper.
They all have their own kids today. Fortunately we all still get together.

Since three mounts I'm working with young people.....they are good lads....I'm teaching them...RET...
Rational Emotive Therapy.....in de beginning they were not interested at all most were fed up with teachers school....
So the second day...i decided that basket was going to be the course of the day.....
When I made a point I may ask something about their life.....and when they made points they ask about mine....
It worked.....
Now they are friends.....none of them had an easy life before....and may be they would end in jail....
But it's a second chance....for them...

Sometimes young people just need a second chance.....
I told you before.... that someone broke my cheek years ago and carved one side of my face...
I felt like the beast for a time.....But the surgeon did amazing work....
And my wife felt in love with me....when my face was....you know...She could see through the wall I build around me...
I was harsh for her...at first....
When I told those guys what happened (they asked....) a few day later one give me his...he jut said:' here Sir it's something for you'....'I don't want to hurt someone....
I'm not a saint at all just care for them.......When I was their age I had nobody...just want to help them....

Yes, they're all based on people and friends I grew up with. The
same can be said about my other piece, Assault League cover art.
My friends got a kick out of seeing themselves as superheroes.
