Aww, so cute! And as far as the spots go, the only real way to solve that is embroidery or felt, and felt really doesn't look good.

awww, booo. i was kind of thinking of starting my circle differnetly, instead of using the magic ring, trying the chain 2 and then sc in the second chain from the hook thing. hrrrm.

I don't use magic ring, and I do the chain two method (magic ring seems to leave a hole at the top of the circle). But it does the same thing since you're putting a 3-D object on a 3-D object.

i don't have a problem with the magic ring, i think it's because i use a small enough hook that the hole doesn't appear. :3

Well, you might be able to get around your problem if you use a smaller worsted weight yarn.

the only thing i'm not too happy with is the spots, they kinda look like moles. D; i'll have to figure out something else for them. haha.
but i love him nonetheless!
