Description "{Name}, will you marry me?"

A blonde man in a classy black and white suit fidgeted. His vibrant emerald eyes displaying anxiousness. He gave a long drawled sigh, running a hand through his tousled blonde mane.
'What if things go wrong, no, what if everything falls apart?' It's not everyday you get to marry. The gentleman hoped this would be his last wedding - but of course it was also his first - to spend the rest of his life with the girl he loved with all his heart.
A knock resounded on the heavy steel doors. It must be Alfred or Francis, coming in to assure that everything will be fine, much to Arthur's displeasure.
"Arthur? I'm coming in." The door creaked opened, only to reveal a hyperactive American. Alfred was wearing a tuxedo, which accented his body well. Baby blue eyes gleaming behind his glasses.
'Did he.. Did he have a proud look just now?' Arthur mused. The taller blonde took in Arthur's appearance. An exasperated sigh passing through his lips as he placed a large hand on the Briton's shoulder.
"Dude, don't get so worked up. It'll be fine! Lighten up, have some fun!"
Arthur's gaze turned quickly into a scowl. Nevertheless, he didn't respond, to worried to fight back with a sarcastic remark, merely wringing his hands in a worried fashion.
"Mon lapin, it's time." Francis poked his head into the room, icy blue eyes lighted with excitement. Even if it wasn't him getting married, it was heart-warming to see his companion achieving happiness.
'Again with that proud look! It's getting on my nerves.. Did they not think that I could gain happiness, to finally be wed?'
As his thick eyebrows scrunched together in agitation and anxiousness, he absentmindedly replied, "ah, right."

The sun shining overhead, casting shadows of everything below it. The light blue sky dotted with clouds lazily floating by, accompanied with the occasional singing, curtsey of the birds. A lake shimmering not far from where the church stood, as if it were made of glass. Just above that, the alter laced with a variety of flowers, roses, tulips, carnations, and of course, flowers originally from Britain. Overall, a perfect day to get married, in Arthur's opinion. Though that didn't stop his anxiety, the erratic beating of his heart, yearning to be with his lover. He couldn't help but reminisce how he met her, his soon-to-be-wife.

Arthur, clad in a simple white dress shirt with a red neck tie, a brown coat over his dress shirt, walked calmly through the bustling streets of London, England. It had been a fairly good day, considering it wasn't raining (yet), but was cloudy and windy. Even though his countenance was calm, his head held high, the young man's mind was on over-drive. He was headed to a little bakery, full of breads, pastries, and cakes. They even had an array of beverages (including earl grey, of course). After multiple times of visiting the quant bakery, he grew to fancy it. Arthur's usual consisted of: earl grey, and a piece of a strawberry shortcake. Who said the Briton didn't and couldn't have a sweet tooth? Once a month he'd happily plurge on the tasty dessert.
The gentleman quietly opened the glass doors of the bakery. A soft jingle of bells sounded his arrival. The bakery oddly had a few costumers, perhaps it was just a slow buisness day (or the daleks exterminated a vast amount of humans). The Briton waited patiently for his turn to order, listening to the whispering conversations of those around him.
"May I purchase a cup of earl grey and a piece of a strawberry shortcake?"

"Sorry, we're all out of that kind of cake. Would you like something else?"

Little did the sharped-tongue gentleman know, the woman whom had purchased ahead of him was listening. She couldn't help it, usually all the hustle and bustle of the bakery would be a tad bit loud. So you couldn't hear the whispers of conversation unless you strained your ears.
"Forgive me, mister. I had just bought the last two pieces. If you'd like, we can share it."
Arthur turned, meeting the gaze of the young woman. Perhaps the same age as he, give or take a year or two. Arthur was quite intrigued with the said woman, not a lot of people would share a just bought item, at least, the blonde hasn't seen an act of such since the... Well, since he became a teen. To say the least, Arthur was heart-warmed at the gesture, a slight blush dusting his porcelain countenance.
"No, I musn't. You purchased it, I simply can't have the possession of that exquisite, finely iced cake!"
He placed a hand over his heart, feigning a hurt expression, but his emerald eyes gleamed with amusement. The woman giggled, amused by his behaviour as well.
"While it is in my possession, I do own it, correct? That would give me the ability of sharing a slice of this beatiful work. Speaking of which, would you like the extra piece of cake? I insist."
Arthur smirked. The lovely lady did have a point, it's also not everyday you meet someone kind and have a way with words, he just couldn't let this opportunity slip by. As he paid for a cup of earl grey, he replied to the lass, the smirk still present on his face.
"Very well, then. If you insist..."
The two sat in the corner of the bakery, a window on the right side of them. Arthur, being in his gentleman persona, pulled the chair out for the kind woman, which she politely thanked him. People walking by can be seen through the window, an occasional honk of a horn could be heard, the sun slowly peeking through the heavy clouds. No one paying attention to the two whom sat in the quant, quiet bakery. Only them, would they remember this fateful day.
"Where are my manners? What's your name, love?"

"{Name}, {Last Name}."

"It's nice to meet you, love. I'm Arthur. Arthur Kirkland."

A soft sigh escaped the wistful gentleman. Today will be the highlight of his life. Finally settling down with the love of his life. Actually finding someone who loved him was surprising! Not many favoured his company, perhaps it was his personality? Or was it just others simply disliked him? It wasn't his fault he couldn't express his feelings clearly. Everybody just seemed to leave him, and sadly enough, Arthur's grown accustomed to that. But this is no time to be sad! It was his wedding for heaven's sake! Looking around, he noticed everyone happily chatting with one another, and some begrudgingly. A peaceful, yet ecstatic feeling wavered all around the outdoors.

The melodic tune of 'here comes the bride' wafted all around. There she was, stepping our of her carriage gracefully. Her velvet wedding dress making her appearance more attractive than usual, the back of it trailing behind her. How Arthur wished he had a pen and paper to document everything, how beautiful {Name} looked, her hair in a French braid, small flowers placed delicately on her hair. Especially of how he felt at the moment, the throbbing of his heart, his anxiousness, his love. The Briton wished this moment would last forever, but at the same time wanting for it to be done with, for his wonderful bride to be in his arms. It was truely majestic. Like a wedding out of a fairy tale.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here in the sight of God, and in the face of this company, to join together this Man and this Woman in holy Matrimony..."

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

Arthur gingerly lifted the viel off his wife, a grin adorning his face. {Name} smiling as well.
"I love you," he whispered lovingly, leaning in to kiss his beloved. A roaring applause and cat calls surrounded the newly wed, which was ignored by the two, simply enjoying the moment of being in each others arms.

The buffet looked scrumptious, prepared by Matthew, Francis, Lovino, and Feliciano. Matthew baked the wedding cake, frosted with a light pink in between the five layers, imbedded in the layers were sugar roses, red and yellow. The cake itself looking to be white with a slight blue hue. You can tell he poured his heart and soul into it, with the intricate details. Francis made the crêpes, macarons, and many gourmet dishes. Lovino made the pizza, while Feliciano made the pasta. It all looked, and tasted, delightful.
Everyone was laughing and having a joyful time. Especially the two lovers.
"Artie~ you want some cake? I'll feed it to you!" {Name} sang cheerfully.

"You look in dire need of some cake as well~"

The pair laughed, trying to feed each other, moving backwards as if dancing the waltz.
"Eek!" The wife fell, grabbing a hold of Arthur in the process, falling into the lake they haven't noticed, prior of each other. Arthur was drenched from head to toe, his usually tousled hair clinging to his face. His tuxedo also clinging to his body. His wife also drenched, wedding gown making her feel heavy, her wet hair framing her face. Both of their eyes alight with happiness, love, and a little bit of mischief, as they bursted out laughing.

"I love you, Arthur Kirkland."

"I love you, {Name} Kirkland."

Awwh that was really adorable! Dude, you're really good at writing! I don't see why you get self-conscious about it. You wrote Arthur perfectly, the dialogue was completely in-character, and the details were realistic, believable, and very charming.

I remember when you first asked me if Alfred or Francis should be the first man xD I almost squealed when I saw that Alfie was. (Wait, he was, right? It sure seemed that way)   . And that ending! So unexpected but adorable. I remember us talking about that, I think... Or was it that the hubby threw the wife in a pool? Hahaha xD Anyway, YOU SHOULD TOTALLY WRITE MORE OFTEN! I CAN SEE YOU JUST GETTING BETTER AND BETTER, M'DEAR~

Ah, and don't forget about my America request, dammit! xD

Asdfghjkl thank you! QAQ (quack.. Remember? XD) Maybe it's because we are our own worst critics and I'm just being to harsh on myself..? Did I even spell critics right? Well, thank goodness Artie was in character. When I wrote the dialogue he seemed off.. But Artie is Artie, he's a weirdo xD

Yes, Alfie was indeed the best man~ he seemed more suited for the job, to be honest. Francis is only there to cry. Manly tears, of course xD I think I said it was the hubby throwing the wife in a pool, but I was imagining Al doing it xP
Tis my goal to write more often~! But inspiration just passes by like the wind. I get an idea, and once I get my notebook I freeze ;-;

I won't! But didn't you request China..? Or am I just imagining things.. But I am planning a new America x Reader, it isn't a wedding, unfortuneatly, but.. Hopeyoulikeitanyways x3 I just hope I get America's personality right.. ^^
