Character I'm working on for another project.

I wrestled with the design. Gale here's a mother, so I tried making her look a bit like one but with some youth to her still. There's two kinds of mothers when it comes to hair, up-dos, and let it downs. Figured a ponytail was a neat compromise (hat's off to Equestria Prevails for the gryphon-feather-ponytail idea). Tried to make a striking look, and I'd never done a blue/red contrast. So I went with a lighter color blue, really light, for the head/torso, and ala Gilda, went with red tinges at the tips of the feathers and spackles, to contrast. Ice blue eyes are also important here.

Female gryphons thus far have an, "Eyeliner" and usually, it tilts upwards. But I wanted to make a less aggressive, passive and approachable look. So I tilted it downwards, and went with a bit of fluttereye to get the approachable look.
