Brother is the Black Son, or Son of Black. He is a special cat... Maybe even not a cat at all, but with the form of a cat.

He knew he was different from the moment he was born. He always gave Stoneteller an odd feeling and he knew that he could read the wishes of The Tribe of Endless Hunting much better than the leader... None the less he went on trying to be a cave guard like his peers, but blind cats make terrible cave guards and his mother, a prey hunter, was killed under his watch; she may have had a chance if he hadn't been trying so hard to suppress his power and abilities.

Stoneteller decided that Brother was not fit for Tribe life and the black cat became somewhat of a pariah, but he still had friends: Sky, Old River and Stony Shore. Stony Shore was Stoneteller's sister and the leader hardly approved of Old River so he and Brother had that in common. Sky was somewhat of his mate and the two ended up having one single kit, but Sky died in the process. Stony Shore ended up caring for the kit.

Brother left the tribe after that; feeling that it was the best plan of action. He soon learned that he felt neutral to all causes and his enlightenment caused the gain of many powers: language, walking with the dead, the power to see even with blind eyes. The simple life of a tribe cat would never have suited such an important being. He wandered for a very long time seeking those with the auras of destiny... Made many friends along the way: dogs, wolves, badgers, other cats and so many more.

First he found Goldenpelt, a cat whose mission was to take over the four famous clans; his aura was red as blood. Brother learned that this cat was too corrupted to learn the ways of his kind and so he left him to be killed at the claws of the she-cat that should have loved him.

Then there was Wolfthorn, a tom with a golden aura that soothed those at his side. This new cat was a traveler as well and Brother spent a long while teaching him of the old ways, but Wolfthorn did not grasp it either; his mind was always on something... someone that he couldn't let go of. Brother knew that he had to part ways with the silver striped cat so that he may pursue what was important to him.

Soon after that he found a lonely soul; one rejected while those she knew were accepted. This she-cat was different than the others, her aura was the same as Stony Shore: kind and loving at one point... But cast out of her home, she had become bitter. Brother had many conversations with Slate and she knew much more than he thought, but her darkness was all he needed to leave her behind. She was distracted as well; by revenge and chaos.

Brother knows of the terrible fire that will break the territories of the four clans, but the balance would be ruined without StarClan and their descendants, so he convinced them to send him their best so that he could save them; young souls that were unburdened by corruption, distraction and chaos as those three he had met in the past. So StarClan chose, but they didn't know that Brother had already fixed their decisions. He had influenced StarClan to choose Wolfpaw, Patchpaw, Duskpaw and Ghostpaw and he knew that a cat from his past would accompany them too: Shinglepaw, who looks just like her mother, Stony Shore.

Anyway, he is like some sort of god in our warriors world.
