Yup...But mostly support ships. Like shuttles, ambulances, and small single man fighters. She also employs several transporters called Trans-Matts.

As in transporters that beam people from place to place. Trans-Matt stands for Transportation of Matter.

Only mobile if it's on ships. A Trans-Matt, also referred to as a Teleport, is the "Doctor Who" version of the "Star Trek" Transporter.

I'm surprised the station's flag resembles a skull, considering it's a symbol of Death in many superstitions, and someone in need of medical care would regard it as an ill omen or something that brings bad luck.

In the "Doctor Who" story "Terminus", the skull was found EVERYwhere in the station. So it was figured it would be easier to just accept it, than try to hide it. Though, eventually most of them were covered, or altered. By that point Terminus was already to well known.

Shouldn't it have been a green circle?

If you mean the Whoniverse version of the medical symbol? The green crescent moon in the green circle? You might find it IN the station. But the "flag" represents the station, itself. And the Federation banner represents the partnership, with the United Federation of Planets...It represents a non-canon crossover, as is said in the description.
Given the Crossover, the symbols, most likely to be seen (other than the Terminus skull symbols) are these...

Yup. But, being located at the exact center of the universe, I thought it was apt.

so did they cure that lazars disease eventually?

captshade In reply to KaiserShipyards [2013-07-16 19:19:36 +0000 UTC]
Depends on the universe, and what you feel is cannon...The televised program (Unknown)...The various novels (Maybe, and yes)...Big Finish audios (Yes).
I kept it in the prime universe (Televised). And moved forwards in my own view of how things could have gone. So, yes Lazars was cured. Terminus became, not only a proper hospital. But became it's own sovereign entity.

Well, it would still be a "plague ship", if it hadn't.

What types of ships does their military maintain or do they mostly rely on Starfleet support? Β Very cool station by the way.

Small support craft, such as shuttles, ambulances captshade.deviantart.com/art/T... , Single man starfighters, and volunteers. She can't dock larger ships, internally.
Of course, Starfleet's ships make the volunteers redundant. Terminus still maintains a volunteer fleet.

Yeah, very old style pre-fab. But being from an early 80's story of Doctor Who, it's to be expected.
And thanks!
