I was going somewhere with this but it kind of died out.Anyways, the American Sports team is my second favorite team in the entire KOF series (Original Ikari being the first), thus making 94 and 98 my favorite KOFs (other things count too btw).
Seriously whats not cool about these guys? Give me a super athlete over some punkass kid or stylish fellow any day.
And I also like Brian, yeah! Woo WOO!

I really love the style you put on these. Almost Disney-like but with a little Bluth to it. xD I dunno if that's intentional or maybe that's me, but it really adds a good twist on what I'm used to usually seeing in the SNK styles over the years. Great job.

I can play Lucky fairly well, but I'd take Ikari over the Sports Team as a whole any day. STORM BRINGAH!

Ikari team is my top fav as well. Though as long as its original Ikari (Heidern, Ralf and Clark).
But I still love the US Sports team, and to be honest those two teams are the only ones that really appealed to me in the entire KOF series.

I'll admit that there's a few pics that aren't good at all (heck, I did them and I won't even look at them), but all of those pics I did are pretty old by now. Maybe I should try drawing Lucky again and see if I do any better...

I understand that what I said there was a tad harsh, I apologize. (I also didn't mean it as if my stuff is all that either, because it isn't)
Though we all gotta start somewhere. My older works are crazy shitty. But thats where practice comes in.

Yes thats true, from looking through your gallery you have improved a bit.
But remember, try to practice everyday, at least doodling or so throughout the day. You'll definitely see improvement in a month or so. (Even if its little, it will happen)
You should also perhaps concentrate on simple black and white images first, practicing on body form before worrying about coloring and such. Just a suggestion.

I play Leona better than Heidern, but I still use him against my buddy, as he HATES when I land Neck Rolling. I'm more of a jack-of-all-teams, though, as I only avoid playing Korea and the Girls in the earlier titles.
Also, hell yes, that is a great wallpaper.

I would have to say Lucky. His cheery persona is quite uplifting, especially compared to the other KOF characters. Plus his fighting style (basketballs aside, which Im fine with) is interesting and fun to use.
In short, he's a blast to play.
Though I like the whole team the same, they are all awesome. (Heavy D! especially in 98).

I don't see why no one likes this team that much. For Lucky, people use the whole 'fighting with basketballs is stupid' thing, but if that were true, the same could be said for about half the cast of Guilty Gear (whom fight with weapons like a pool cue, a guitar and even a freaking yo-yo!) Brian may be hated because of his boring design, but I think some of those haters are just jealous that Brian can take them apart in the hands of a master 
These guys need to come back to KOF. Because of their cameos, SNK obviously hasn't forgotten about them.

And I would like to add a few things. On Lucky's basketball fightin being stupid, seriously, Mai chucks fans. Ninja or not, fans don't hurt that much, and she trows them very slowly. Also personality wise, I actually find Lucky to be very likable, as opposed to MANY of the other KOF characters.
I don't mind Brian's design, though I will admit it could have been handled better. (I prefered his 94 look and stance, actually) Perhaps, that Screw Body Press of his is pretty crazy.
They definitely do. I understand that SNK hasn't fully forgotten, but I'd wish they wouldn't be remembered as a running gag. :^/
