At lot of patience, and attention to detail. There's no specific advice I can give you here other than: pay attention to the pattern, and keep your mind focused on consistent values and lines.

Best advice I can give any new artist: Everything in art, from fantasy to reality, will flow from the discipline of seeing the world as it really is.

The rest is the time you dedicate to the craft.
