So thank you!

I'm workin on cloth, and keeping it fresh, and I think that part came out well. Face, not so much. But at least I'm getting the hang of light and color now. I think.

It's digital. I used Painter IX.

Thanks! I try to get that painterly effect in CG, instead of over-rendering (comes out too CG, ya know?). I'm really no good with traditional medias outside of a pencil or conte. I wish I could get that soft look that you get with your pastels, they're great!

I've seen a few of these done as digitial paintings and am quite impress with the process. I really like your figure studies, very nice...getting the look with pastels isn't difficult ...just need to do lots of them until you get familiar with the medium and that "soft look" will come!

This is cool especially the strokes. But in the reference there is a warm reflection on the dress comming from her arm/hand on the left side I dont know why that just stood out to me

Yea I was trying to get that but I guess I covered over it. I don't really consider this done, just a speed paint for now. I'm just trying to make myself do SOMETHING. I'm being a total lazy ass this summer. How's it goin up in Maine?

I've been lazy too, the only constructive thing Ive done is found this wednesday night figure drawing group that i've joined, its actually a lot more intense then Figure at the school, three hours of drawing the figure with literally 20 second breaks in between poses
