AAAAhhahah once I saw there was a contest to make an OC for the universe of Glass, I knew I just had to join!! I really enjoyed the movies aaa they were so good!! I really had fun making this guy ppft I hope he's okay !! :0
So here is my entry!! I worked super hard on his story and the drawing hh so I hope you like it !! ;ww;

Glass Hero - "The Match"

Real name: Isaac Parks

Class: Hero

- Powers: Manipulate and command fire

-Weakness: 32°F and under blood pressure goes down, sluggish, and control of fire weakens. Anything under 5°F makes him almost hypothermic, control of fire ceases

-Why He is a Hero: when he was a kid, he was an only child and lived with his mother. His father was abusive and left him and his mom when he was a toddler. Their house was small and they lived in poverty barely getting by. One night, a crook was robbing their house for any scraps they had left and tied up him and his mother in the living room. As a last ditch effort to cover up all the evidence, the crook lit a match and started the house on fire with both him and his mother still tied up. It was so strong, his house was in ashes in just a few hours. Isaac got his hands untied in the last second and held them up to his face to shield from the fire. Through the rubble, he was the only thing that was relatively unscathed. Only his hands were affected, scorched badly and almost burned beyond recognition. He has to wear wraps on his hands from that point because the skin can’t grow back anymore. Sadly, his mother died in the fire. He was devastated that he survived and she didn’t. When the first responders found him, they were completely baffled how a child even survived such an intense fire. They just thought it was pure luck and didn’t think much of it again. He eventually found an adoptive family that took him in but from that moment, he was traumatized and terrified of fire. Isaac’s birthday arrived quickly. His parents threw him a birthday party and lit a candle for his cake. Once he saw the candle he started panicking and screamed for the fire to stop. At that second, the candle blew out on its own. His adoptive parents looked at each other in confusion. After that, he finally discovered why he wasn’t harmed in the house that night. He can manipulate fire at will. He was a quiet and shy kid growing up with his new family. Kids bullied him a lot because they thought he was crazy and a freak. He didn’t say much to them because he didn’t think they deserve to see his true power.. His adoptive parents bought him a bunch of comic books to cheer him up and help him through his trauma. He instantly fell in love with the heroes. He loved how they risked their lives to save people in need. He just had to be like one of those when he grows up. Maybe to fill the pain that was left from his late mother....

-What He Does: Travels the countryside arriving at fires before any first responders can respond. Contains the fire and saves anyone and any pets inside the building with little burns anywhere. The fire is extinguished almost immediately and the building is left almost unscathed. The cops can't figure out how the fires keep stopping before the firefighters get to the scene but Match leaves the area as fast as he got there and moves on to the next fire. He rides the rails across the country looking for bad guys and people to save. He carries a matchbox around to start small flames he can use to catch criminals. He detains them by surrounding them in the flame and ties them up. He then calls the police for the location and leaves before they arrive.

-Personality: kind of awkward and quiet, somewhat grumpy. Can be short tempered but has a huge heart and wants to save everyone

-Outfit: Wears an old white shirt underneath a tattered winter coat he found. He also wears flame retardant pants with a thermal underneath to keep his internal body temperature warm and to prevent his weakness from taking over. He also wears waterproof boots to keep his feet warm and dry.
