Isn't it great when you get to see how much you have improved over time! -^_^- I do this all the time. I have kept my  drawings and old stories from grade school that I will come across every so often and I have to redraw them. Mainly because I remember the epic story I was creating for the character as well as being able to see the improvement after all of the years! I think that you are showing great improvement! It is exciting... X.x I really need to teach lol. Please keep up the great work!

Both styles are really cute. I can't really say I like one more than the other though. I love the hair on the After. I think you did a great job on that, and the eyes seem slightly better. The shoulders look a little weird though. You definitely improved drawing folds and such too. As well as shading. I think the reason one might say they prefer the before is because of a slight style difference. You definitely did improve a whole lot though, and have progressed in your style nicely.
