Description So adorable, I can't believe I actually got this done! It's an edit of Tanya dressed up as Belle, from Disney's Beauty And The Beast. Belle is Tanya's favorite Disney princess...well, along with Tiana of course, so she admires her a lot and loves dressing up like her whenever she gets the chance. This surprisingly didn't take long, which means I'm getting A LOT better with this! Please enjoy guys, and let me know what you think.

Awwww, thank you so much for commenting, I appreciate it! Yeah, I'm not exactly an artist so editing has to do for now. But again, thank you, it really meant a lot for you to say something.

Oh no problem, I'm a total Disney geek and I usually find a way to compare something to another film or story in some way. And not everyone can be a top notch artist, shit, I know I'm not.

At least you're better than me. Oh cool, I like Disney too, but I don't know if I would call myself a "BIG fan".

I'm that person that listens to the commentaries, watches the deleted scenes and documentaries, and just has that determination to learn about the little things that make these films great.

Oh, I see. I should do that one day. I did read a little bit of a documentary one time on the making of Pinnochio. Wow...not for kids.

The original versions of most fairy tales arent't. In Cinderella, the stepmother has each of her daughters cut off a portion of their foot to fit the slipper. One cuts off her big toe, the other her heel, and the trail of blood coming from each of them makes the Prince return the sister back to the house.

Well, in the documentary about the making of Pinnochio, it's been said that Walt himself and some of the artist actually took some...well.....things to help their creativity. I don't want to say here, but it's not for kids and most people would be shocked. Yes, I do know about the original Grimm versions of the stories. The fact that they cut up their feet totally freaked me out.

And there was one story where a father startedto pursue his daughter because she resembled her mother, and demanded he make her a coat of a thousand furs, and tiny gold instruments as gifts while she thought of a way to escape. She takes the gifts and run into the woods and us later found, but not recognized. She is made a servant in his home and when he holds a ball she then begins to drop the little gifts by his dinner plate, then dress up and go to the ball....in the end, the king find her and makes her his wife.
I'm like....wtf all through this story, doesn't make a damn bit of sense. But it's there in the collection of Grimm.

Wow, that's creepy. But I'm sure much stranger things have happened in real life. Sheesh, wouldn't she be hot and steaming in all that fur? Anyway, I've always loved most of the fairy tale stories growing up and hope to come up with a few myself. I love writing and I hope to become an author one day.

My problem is that i had too many distractions, like a time consuming job, or i moved and it got packed up, or a relationship that i got completely wrapped up in....
Right now I'm in the time consuming job bracket, but i plan to get back to my novel once the ren faire if over with. It's hand written, so now I'm typing it up on my laptop. And rewording it since it's been some years and my vocabulary has improved in literary form.

Ahhh, yes, distractions. I really used to let that get to me, but not anymore. I've learned to focus. Oh wow, you go to Ren Faire? Awesome, I've been to only one. I hope to go back one day. Ugh, I graduate college in December, so I have to get started soon on that job bracket.

I've been going to faires since i was in diapers. My Mom started working one when she was 14. Its our family tradition, our family trip kinda thing. And its where my Mom met my stepdad. Luckily ours in our town so we don't have to travel far and camp. And it also hosts a Halloween themed village and haunted castle for October, and a drive thru Christmas kingdom of lights and inflatables. Only good thing about Muskogee oklahoma on my opinion.

Oh wow, you're from Oklahoma? My thoughts and prayers go out to you and everyone there in that state. I hope everyone is okay in your town. There are some faires here in Pennsylvania, but I don't bother. I'm just concentrating on graduating college and going back home to New York City.

Thank you for your warm thoughts. Luckily those twisters weren't near my town,a good 3 hour drive away. We did get a good hit from thunder storms. Scared our dogs mostly.
So your in PA, but a native Yankee . I'm actually from California but i was a military brat for many years. Bounced around and finally settled here. Not ideal, but it'll do.

Yeah, I loved growing up in New York. I didn't know how good I had it there, especially when it comes to transportation and opportunities. The old saying is very true. You never know what you have or how good you have it until it's gone. Now I'm in a small town, I realize how lucky I had it in New York City, how free I was there. *sigh* But I'm trying to go back. I graduate college this December and my dad is looking for an apartment for me there already for when I'm done with college. Oh wow, California...I would love to visit there one day! You're welcome, I'm happy you were safe.

Thanks kid. It's good your dad is trying to help you find a place, some won't offer so much as that. And California was pretty awesome, there are times i wish we never left and other times .I'm glad for it. Miss the ocean and San Francisco though...

Oh I miss the ocean too! I'm originally from overseas and I remember how the ocean just calmed me at time when I was little. I'm sure California is much better than this dump here. Oh, San Francisco sounds amazing, but I'd love to visit Los Angelas and San Diego.

More crime and pollution in those parts. LA is gang land, SD is practically a part of Mexico. Visit, but don't stay. That's my advice.

CaribbeanRose9 In reply to autumnrose83 [2013-05-28 14:30:49 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I figured that. Los Angelas has one of the highest smogs counts in the country. You're right, I can visit, but I don't think I want to stay.

When i lived on Treasure Island (yes, it is real). It was less than a mile away from San Francisco. The constant sea breeze helps push those pollutants away, and kept my lungs clear. I have a very severe case of asthma. Let's just say, if i wanted to breathe better i should've stayed there. Oklahoma gets too hot and humid and i have allergies.

My half-sister had a lot of allergies before she died too, and asthma. I know it's hard to deal with sometimes. Meh, I don't know if I'd like to visit or live in Oklahoma, I need to be near water.

autumnrose83 In reply to CaribbeanRose9 [2013-05-29 16:57:11 +0000 UTC]

I didn't have allergies before moving here, and in 2009 i died 3 times from asthma attacks. Two were caused from second hand cigarette smoke. I went code blue, had to be intubated, and stayed under for days at a time. I have no conscious memory of these moments, since the loss of oxygen to the brain causes memory gaps. People in town still talk about that Halloween party....since it was held at my house.

Oh gosh, that's terrible! I'm glad you were able to be revived. Oh man, I absolutely hate cigarettes. I've read the ingrediants to them before, and it's disgusting! Do smokers even know...or care what's in cigarettes? I think I died before when I was hit by a car when I was 3. I just remember lots of lights, then darkness. Anyway, I'm glad you're okay.

You probably had one hell of a concussion. And no, every time I've seen someone purchase smokes, they just pack it, rip it open and pop one in their mouth. No one ever reads ingredients these days.
My bf has been cutting back, and even bought the new electric ones that have flavored oils in them. That was before i told him I'm pregnant. Soon there won't be any smoking of anything as long as I'm around.

Oh wow, congratulations! I hope everything goes well and you have a beautiful, healthy baby. Yeah, I suppose it was a concussion. You know, I don't think smokers really care, it's just the "quick fix" that matters to them.

autumnrose83 In reply to CaribbeanRose9 [2013-06-04 17:23:31 +0000 UTC]

It's the addictive chemicals mixed into the tobacco. After a while, you no longer care what's in it as long as you get it.
Thank you for the warm thoughts, this is my absolute first but I'm handling it well. I have plenty of family and friends by me. And also my brother will be a daddy at the same time, his gf is just a month ahead of me. How awesome is that?

CaribbeanRose9 In reply to autumnrose83 [2013-06-07 01:42:57 +0000 UTC]

That IS awesome! Cousins the same age and growing up together. You can't ask for more than that. Yeah, I think the tobacco company did that on purpose. It's very easy to make the human brain addicted to something. Ahh well, perhaps someday people would get smarter.

With the new products that are out, there's a few that have opened their eyes to it. But it's still hard to kick an addictive habit. My Mom is cutting back on her cigarettes, my dad rolls his as needed, and of course i told you bout the bf with his electronic one that doesn't puff out cig smoke.
With all the appointments I've been having, the smoking question comes up often.

That's great your mom is cutting back on cigarettes. It shows she cares for her health. I did read a little bit about the electronic cigarettes, but it's still kind of a mystery. Yeah, an addictive habit is hard to kick, which is why the tobacco company purposely made it addictive. They need the smoker's money. It's like a parasite. Good luck with your appointments.

Hey, there's just one thing that's important to remember when you're a mother.....listen to your instincts. Don't just rely on books and other people, do what feels right in your heart and gut. Do that, and you'll be okay. Working in the school system and daycares for about 10 years, I've personally seen lots of mistakes mothers do. Just trust yourself and respect your children as you want to be respected.

Thank you for your sage wisdom. I actually intend to do just that, though my Mom will be right at my side if i need help. I only wish my mothers parents were still here to hear the news, they'd be absolutely thrilled and proud. My grandma raised 5 kids and went back to school and was an English major. If anyone could do it, she could.

CaribbeanRose9 In reply to autumnrose83 [2013-06-15 14:50:33 +0000 UTC]

Wow, you're grandma sounds amazing. Yeah, so many women think they have to be the "perfect" mother. You don't have to be perfect, you just have to be there for your children, you know? Just..be there. They'll remember you were there when they are scared, lonely, hurt, and sad. Even if you know there is nothing you can do to stop the hurt, just be there. That's what matters. You'll be fine.
