A while back, I told myself that I would stop painting WoW-based things. However, after looking back on my last Azshara piece, I really wanted to do something different for her.I don't think I will ever shake my rampant Blizzard fangirl roots.

Hm, she could be a Madness of Deathwing type fight. Hope she enters the series soon, and hope some of you dA people are hired to do the design because you make her look awesome.

Don't stop! You have a talent for depicting the characters well. Don't listen to D&D banters and slgihts, as there will always be the WoW haters in that respect. Beautiful work, keep it up! Inspiring!

She honestly makes me think that she was basically the Queen of Chaos from D&D, but Blizzard pretty much just nabbed and sexualized her.
Regardless of how little I think of the character herself, what matters here is the job you did on depicting her. In that respect, I love the detail you put into her musculature; I have a thing for toned women, and the shading emphasizes that perfectly.

I am! Or rather, I might be, haha. I do have a blog with scrapped designs for her. I still wouldn't say this one is "final". She's such a huge character in WoW lore that it's so hard to get her to look right. x.x But I will keep on trying, haha.

All of them looked amazing. I hope that Blizz keeps her as a octopus lady (now that the RPG books that made her like that are retconned). i also have done some drawings of her but I dont have a scanner so yeah..... Anyway amazing work and faved like your other Azshara paint

This picture is awesome. One bit of critique - I think her facial expression does not seem to fit the scene - it might be better if she were angry, or looking at the pathetic humans in disgust, something. Just a thought

Thank you for the crit! It's so rare to see people willing to critique artists her on DA anymore. This is actually something that has been crossing my mind when I come back to this. I'll revisit it this week and see if I can't give her face more character to fit the scene.

Always lovely to see Azshara get some love! Considering her role in lore, I'm dissapointed with Blizz's lack of her.
Such an amazing piece, I love the whole "kracken" feeling you've got going on with her. Her face and hair are stunning yet I love the monster qualities of her tentacles. The colours and textures as well, just blow my mind. Makes me think of chalk drawings or pastels. Fantastic bit of WoW art! The blizz reps should see this sort of stuff -nod-

I'm reeeaaaaaaally hoping that they decide to have her be the big boss in the next major expansion. Her lore is so awesome, and the potential for a Nazjatar instance is huuuuuge. It could be the best expansion yet if it was handled right, I think.
