Description Radom character concept!
I would like to render it a little more but I'm not good enough...for now.
Thanks to my Guille García (  www.facebook.com/guilleshock ) for the wonderful background tutorial

such a beautiful and kooky character! shes ACE!
I really admire how you've done this, would it be alright if I asked you about how you painted it? choosing colours and the like?
(at the moe I really need help with colours and painting you see and I'd love your input)

Of course!! Yo can ask me whatever you want!

I started with a pencil sketch of the character, then I inked it and colored it all with the same color in other layer (any color, it doesn't mind)
The next step is to block the colored layer and work over it trying to render as better as you can, there isn't another trick xD (Well there are a lot of tricks but all related to how lights works. Anything related with the colors I choose)

I started with a gradient to make the background, then I always paint a light in the correct direction and the shadow of the body with a very smooth brush.

If you want to make the reflection of the body in the floor you only have to duplicate the body layer, rotate and down the opacity.

That's all!

No problem man! Feel free to ask me everything xD

Imagine other picture...imagine a background in a layer and a circle in other. You block the layer of the circle and simply paint over it with different brushes or different modes. When I talk you about the different modes I mean that you normally paint with your brush in Normal style but, there are a lot of modes, for example, I use Over light mode to make lights harder.

I know that it's to difficult to understand if you don't see an example...

I can make you a tutorial if you want!

ah okay I see what you mean, I havent experimented with the modes much but I'll have a fiddle with them when im painting tonight. you've drawn me a brilliant picture of how to start painting thank you very very much (pardon the pun)

ooo you don't have to go and make a tutorial just to show me :s
so kind that you would offer though
