I'm in the wars;Can't sleep for crying.
Close all the doors,
...since I am dying.
Pick up the phone
Attempt to call her...
I'm all alone; until she answers.
Momentarily, she brings peace to me.
She barely speaks,
...but I hear her breathing.
And, that's all I need.
....someone who is listening
And, still she stays,
Her time is precious.
Until I am safe;
She gives her presence.
Momentarily she brings peace to me.

i haven't thought about this in so long...but it's like we're suddenly reliving last summer and all the emotions that went with it and it's eating a hole through my heart. i can move on, but children can't the same. and that's killing me.

and thank you for the insight on the image. it had actually BEEN a hopeful deviation at one point. and i'm not sure when or even why...but one day i saw it and i saw something different. something very sad and heartbreaking in it. so i change its name and content .. and i just came back to it yesterday and felt the same thing, read my artists comments, and remembered why i had felt so broken -- and then i realized i still feel JUST as broken today, if not more.
