Description I wanted to get this character’s backstory done by this weekend, I didn’t want her to be left unfinished for so long. I like her design, and I had an idea for her story, but it took a while to complete. I’m open for criticism for the picture, bio and backstory. If you have anything to say, feel free to comment or note me! Thank you!

To start this off, this is a non fandom oc.

BASIC INFORMATION
Name: Gigi Mariana Pochsia (jee-jee mar-ee-ahn-ah pock-see-ah)
Nickname(s): Gig, G, and Princess
Age: 23 years old
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual, Homoromantic
Date of Birth: 7th of February
Ethnicity/Species: Demon
Occupation/Job: Café worker
World/Universe: An alternate universe of earth, where the main population is monsters and demons.

APPEARANCE
Height: 5’3”
Weight: 129 lbs
Skin Tone: Light pink
Facial Shape: Circular
Eye Color: Brown
Gigi’s eyes change color depending on her mood. Gigi never noticed her eye coloration shift into blue or red, but her family and friends notice. The eye change doesn’t make a huge difference, but it has six colors, one for each mood.
Hair Style: Long pink hair that stops near the end of her back. Bangs swept over her head, two long bangs left hanging around her face, and a bow hanging behind her hair.
Body Type: Overall curvy, thin waist, more muscle at the legs, and somewhat large bust.
Posture: Strict, almost as if she’s in royalty.
Dress: Mostly wears pink dresses. Likes to compliment with white or purple accessories and shoes. Enjoys wearing stockings/tights, gloves, and chokers. Gigi likes to wear fancy clothes, especially dresses.
Accessories: A pink and white striped hair bow, white gloves, and a purple choker.

ATTITUDE
Personality: Gigi at first looks like a friendly and open person. When one meets Gigi, she is very considerate and affectionate towards her friends. She comes off as oddly romantic and thoughtful, but deep inside is different for Gigi. She’s possessive and stubborn. With her added sensitivity, Gigi comes off as childish and unpredictable. She is very ambitious about meeting new people, as well as keeping them as her friends. Gigi is quite dreamy about being with friends, as well as her quirky dreams. She isn’t willing to kill for her friends, she knows when to cross a line. Despite knowing that, Gigi has an odd sadistic nature towards people she dislikes. She is quite gullible, and will do anything for her friends.
Likes: The color pink, fairy tales, chocolate chip cookies, unicorns, getting her fingernails trimmed, romantic movies, ballet, tiaras/crowns, learning about mental torture methods, and mental pain of others (she doesn’t like physical).
Dislikes: Blood, jewelry, parties, rainbows, board games, green vegetables, boys (there are exceptions), sports, bananas, and wearing makeup.
Moral: “To be the perfect princess, sometimes you have to commit sin.”
Intelligence Level: She remembers things well, but her intelligence isn’t the highest.
Confidence Level: A below average level, but it depends on the situation.
Greatest Fear/Phobia: Blood, losing her friends, and buzzing.

RELATIONSHIPS
Family: Edith Pochsia (Mother), Kyle Pochsia (Father), Mimi Pochsia (Younger Sister), Gigi’s other elder sisters (Kiki, Bibi, and Pippi)
Gigi gets along with her mother well. Edith would always read fairy tale stories to young Gigi, and she loved them. Edith would try her hardest to equally take care of her daughters, and believes Gigi is a bit of a challenge.
When it comes to her father, Gigi also loves her father as much as she loves her mom. Kyle would take Gigi to ballet lessons, and even went to her events. Kyle is overall a calm man who loves his daughters, and is willing to do anything for them (to an extent).
Of all of Gigi’s sisters, Mimi loves being around Gigi the most. They get along pretty well for the youngest sisters in the family, unlike the other sisters. Mimi would often write stories and play dress up with Gigi, and they enjoyed their childhood together.
As for the rest of Gigi’s sisters, they focused more on themselves to this day. Although they spent time together in their childhood, they have a decent bond with Gigi.
Friends: Gigi has many friends, but for her backstory, none of them make an extreme part in the story.
Significant Other/Crush: Lucille Serrail
For all of Gigi’s life, Lucille (Lucy) was always a blessing to her. They were best friends for their entire childhood. They would play dress up, bake, and even go shopping together. Lucy thought of Gigi as a best girlfriend, but Gigi saw Lucy more than that.
After Gigi started to develop more feelings for Lucy, she began to be more romantic and possessive towards Lucy. There was a point where Gigi thought Lucy ignored her texts and emails on purpose (backstory will explain), it reached a point where Gigi doubted her feelings to Lucy, and it shattered her. Mentions of Lucy make Gigi greatly upset to this day. Although she tries to hide it, her eyes speak her emotion.

LIFE
Strengths: Can think of several mental torture methods at any time at a fast pace, has minor self regeneration, gets along with everyone in any situation, is very friendly and can keep strong bonds, great at cooking.
Weaknesses: Isn’t the most strategic, physically frail, slow runner, horrid stealth due to a bright palette, tends to overreact and misunderstand easily, is petty over small things, lack of practice with self regeneration, some believe because of her sadistic nature; she is insane, never forgets the harshest moments, but always forgets the happiest.
Gigi is the only member of her family with self regeneration (her mom being an exception, but she can heal others), and it’s a power Gigi often won’t use. She believes she’s already a natural at the power, despite its slowness. The larger the wound, the slower it takes to heal. The more wounds on the body, the time doubles for each individual wound. The time varies, an example being a simple paper cut only taking five minutes to heal. However, a broken leg would take three months. If another wound is formed, the leg will take six months to heal.
Hobbies: Dancing, writing, reading, and cooking
Habits: Curling her hair bangs, messing up her hair, occasionally rubs eyebrows, and tapping her foot.
Area of Residence/Environment: A fairly bright atmosphere in a neighborhood filled with young children and dogs. The adults enjoy the residence, as well as the beautiful park and greenery. There is a busy road near the neighborhood too. Before Gigi was born, and during her childhood, the neighborhood wasn’t as colorful or cared for. It took a couple years for someone to notice the neighborhood’s lacking economy and repair it.
Home Description: An average sized wooden home fit for 7. Gigi shares a room with Mimi, Bibi lives in the basement, Pippi takes her own room, and Kiki is in college. The house is pretty small on the inside, and it’s fairly clean for a rowdy household.
Health: Physical health is pure, scars and wounds are cleaned away. Mental health is questionable, but nothing has been diagnosed yet.

BACKSTORY:
(Quick A/N: This story contains mentions of depression, mental breakdowns, and rejection. If you’re sensitive to these, then I suggest you don’t read ahead. Thank you for reading!)
Before Birth:
A dusty and worn out sign stood near the entrance to a small and grey neighborhood. The bright and colorful cars and other neighborhoods outshined them often. The neighborhood known as “Baker’s Lake”, had been struggling with their neighboring economy, and lacked a lot of color and care around each house and road. Despite their lack of care, there was one family who desperately cared due to a lack of funds. Eventually, a married couple lived there with their three children.

The family was known as the Pochsia’s, which consisted of a happy mother and father, and three little girls, who all had names with similarity. Kiki is the oldest, Bibi is the second eldest, and Pippi is the youngest. Why the mother wanted to give her children repetitive names, is because it’s been her childhood dream. When she was very young, she cared for little dolls and treated them like her children.

Edith Pochsia, already had three young girls, yet she still wanted another child. Her husband, Kyle, didn't care if they had to care for so many, he loved them all equally. Kiki and Bibi were excited to have another sibling. The three got along well, so they'll get along with the new baby too, or so what the dad thought. The family was already chaotic in the house, there were messes everywhere, constant screams of joy, and lots of money being thrown into the drain. It wasn't a good start for the Pochsia family, but they hoped their future would be better, and aimed for that future.

Before the new child’s arrival, Edith worked as a customer service worker at a convenient store. Kyle spent his time in two jobs, being a math teacher and a part time job as a car dealer. The jobs took up majority of their time, but the money was worth the time.

Bibi was just starting preschool, and Kiki was in 1st grade. Pippi was still a baby, and various family members visited to take care of them.

When the time arrived, the baby was a girl. Edith immediately named her “Gigi”. Kiki and Bibi loved her when she arrived, they even got to hold her.

Childhood:
During the time of Gigi’s childhood, the girls received another sister, and her name was Mimi. Gigi and the youngest sister got along very well, due to being born at a difference of one year. Gigi and Mimi were always playing together, and they would rarely leave each other’s sides when it was needed. Those times when Mimi wasn’t around, Gigi had other friends to spend time with. One of her bestest friends was Lucille Serrail, who she met since kindergarten.

Ever since her first day of kindergarten, Gigi was excited to meet new friends and grow up. She walked in a small room with various round tables, chairs, lots of colorful words on the walls, and even a chalkboard. It was so much to gaze over, and Gigi was in awe at how much was in the room. What grabbed her attention was a girl by herself at a table. She appeared to be a one-eyed monster with cerulean skin and wavy brown hair. Her eyes expressed fear and shyness. Gigi thought she was lonely, since she was the only one in the room besides Gigi.

As she slowly walked up to the blue girl, Gigi’s face lit the entire room with a bright expression. The single-eyed girl looked at Gigi and froze, unsure of what to do. “Hi! I’m Gigi!” Gigi said with an enthusiastic tone. The girl replied quietly and hesitantly. “H-hi.. I’m.. uh.. Lucy! I’m Lucy!” Gigi’s eyes glowed after hearing the girl’s name. “That’s a cute name!” Lucy, slightly uncomfortable but unsure, kept the conversation going, “Is it really?” “Yeah!” Gigi happily replied, assuring Lucy.

The two talked for a while until various other students entered, eventually, the teacher. Gigi sat next to Lucy, both had smiles on their faces for their new friends.

Throughout their school years, Gigi would work with Lucy, and even ask her to playdates. They would dress up in pretty clothes, watch movies, play games, and hang out at a park together. They both enjoyed the activities so much, they didn’t want to stop. They became best friends very quickly.

Lucy eventually met Gigi’s entire family, which Lucy thought was crazy. There were so many family members in a small house, and Lucy couldn’t imagine what a sleepover would be like. Gigi and Lucy’s friendship reached a point where Mimi wanted attention from her older sister. Gigi never realized her sister’s behavior, and thought it was normal. During one evening, at dinner, Mimi became clingy to Gigi and didn’t let go until dinner was done.

At the age of 9, Gigi grew an interest to ballet. Her father signed her up for lessons, and even watched her performances. Occasionally, Mimi would join Kyle, and she would try to imitate her sister.

Teen/adolescent:
Middle school for Gigi went well, as she took singing lessons and signed up for choir. Mimi eventually backed off Gigi, as she admitted her sister liked Lucy more. During choir concerts, Mimi wouldn’t care much for hearing Gigi, as mentions of her older sister saddens her. Gigi did notice her sister being more distant as they got older. The parents eventually put Mimi up for therapy to calm her down.

During Lucy’s time in middle school, she noticed Gigi making more friends in her classes and was afraid Gigi liked them more than her. She started to have doubts about Gigi, which eventually led her to a mild depression. Lucy still stuck by Gigi, hoping she hasn’t lost her best friend.

When Gigi reached high school, she stood by Lucy’s side. They had separate classes, but they always hung out with each other at lunch. They would sometimes help each other with assignments, and sometimes Gigi would bring a friend with her.

One day, Gigi felt different around Lucy. She was oddly nervous and became quite protective of her. If someone bumped into Lucy, Gigi would defend Lucy. Gigi would also hug Lucy more often than not, she also became very flirty. Lucy thought this behavior was normal, since she considered Gigi to be her best friend, and her only friend.

Adulthood/Current:
Gigi reached 18. She already received her license, a new car, and a job as a café worker. She always felt something was missing, but always felt complete when near her childhood best friend, Lucy. She was unsure if she should be honest with Lucy or not. She began having doubts if Lucy would say yes to her romantic feelings.

One day, Gigi wanted to get it over with, and called Lucy to meet her at the café she worked at. Lucy accepted the meeting, knowing it was a simple best friend hangout. By the time they both arrived, Gigi took many deep breaths before approaching Lucy. Her eyes, now shifted blue, showed nervousness. Lucy looked at Gigi with concern, “Gigi, your eyes! They’re blue. How did that happen?” Lucy stood up as Gigi raised a hand to settle Lucy, “It’s fine, I just wanted to tell you something.” Gigi sat down at the outdoor table, and Lucy unsurely and slowly moved back to her seat. Gigi grew a concern to her eyes being blue, but that wasn’t important at that moment.

Taking more deep breaths, it almost felt like Gigi was getting a heart attack. Lucy began to get nervous from looking at Gigi, she was tempted to pull out her phone and call an ambulance. Gigi thought to herself, ‘Well, the feeling will go away if I just say it, right?’ She assured herself, ‘Here goes nothing.’ She let it out.

“Lucy, I’ve been feeling odd lately. Odd, as in, I feel something towards you, kind of odd. I just love hanging out with you, and I’ve known you for practically my whole life. When we were kids, you were my best friend. You’ve been my best friend throughout high school too, and you’ve helped me through tough times. But now, I see you more than a best friend. Lucy, I just wanna let you know that I uh..” Gigi stuttered at the end, “I.. like-like you.”

Gigi closed her eyes, her hand clutched her heart as she awaited her response. Lucy was speechless, she didn’t know what to say. The silence made it awkward, and it lasted for a while. Lucy eventually spoke, “Gigi, I don’t know if you know this, but I’m straight. I’m attracted to boys, so I don’t feel the same way to girls. Even if you are my best friend, I don’t have that deep of an attraction. I’m sorry to disappoint you, Gigi, I don’t feel the same way.”

At that point, she lost sight of who she was. Gigi felt her world crumble entirely. Gigi stormed out of her chair and ran into the café restroom, leaving Lucy alone. Gigi slammed the door shut and bawled her eyes out. She fell on the filthy tiled floor and puked her stomach feelings in a toilet as she cried. Her mind began to fill with negative thoughts and sadness. She couldn’t control herself as her tears felt endless.

Gigi stayed in the restroom stall for 20 minutes, until she decided to go home. Her eyes looked tired and puffy as she left the café. The table she and Lucy sat at was empty. Gigi didn’t care anymore. She walked home with sadness haunting her heart and mind.

Two months of a crippling depression affected Gigi to a point where she threw out her phone and bought a new one, just to avoid Lucy. Little did she know, she wasn’t aware of the constant worrisome texting from Lucy. Turns out Lucy was kidnapped while trying to wait for Gigi to come back. Lucy managed to be set free after a day, and she desperately needed someone to talk to, and Gigi was her only friend. After a week of no replies, Lucy accepted the loss of her best friend. She currently spends her time moping in sorrow and avoiding people with her solitude.

One day, Gigi was trying to sleep while avoiding memories of Lucy, until she heard a mischievous and deep voice call her. “Gigi..” it spoke as Gigi sat up from her bed and rubbed her eyes. She looked around to notice nobody was around. Assuming it was a prank, Gigi drifted back to sleep. The voice yelled, “Gigi!” She wakes up again, focusing her attention on where the voice came from, the window. Gigi stood from her bed and looked at the window with tired and careless eyes. “Gigi… you will make big dreams… come…” it explained mysteriously, and it caught Gigi’s attention. She ran outside and followed the voice’s strange sayings before approaching a graveyard.

Gigi was confused at first, but noticed a strange and large building in the distance. “Go there..” the voice said, and Gigi obeyed. As she approached the mansion sized building, Gigi asked, “You said big dreams, right? What kind of dreams?” The voice simply said, “Anything from wishes… all for you.. and all you have to do, is work for me..” Gigi’s eyes glowed from the word, ‘wishes’. She eventually reached the door to the mansion and entered, hearing the doors slam behind her.

She looked ahead to see four demons who glared at her intensely. Gigi stepped back as she eyed the four, realizing they didn’t look too friendly. One of them spoke, “Is she supposed to work with us? She doesn’t look too tough.” Another one snarked, “Don’t be such a sexist. For all we know she could murder us all.” A tall demon walked forward to Gigi, “You’re also here for wishes I assume?” Confused, Gigi nodded slightly and grabbed the handle of the door, only to notice its locked from the outside. Freaking out, Gigi banged on the doors and yelled for help, only to hear the same eerie voice stop her. “Now that you’re all here.. I will provide my tasks for you all, and then.. you will receive what you came here for…” the voice chuckled evilly.

And that’s the end for now! I do have a plan for this to be a bigger story for a comic or animation, so I don’t wanna give too much away. Hope this was alright for a start, and thank you for reading!
