Commission for featuring her gorgeous red platinum fox character, Ellone. I had the background for this already drawn out in my head even before I finished drawing Ellone herself, as I wanted something with lots of color
I got the idea for the title while I was listening to my iPod, and the song happened to pop up. I thought that the song tied in really well with the picture, as it made me realize that the background did indeed, remind me of summer 
I love Owl City

Aww, I really like this! You really nailed her markings and I just love the way you depicted her. It's a very summery picture and I love summer; it's my favorite season. I also really like Owl City, especially that song. I just love when the woman joins in at the end of that song.
I think the background matches pretty well. I love cool colors like blue and green, but those hints of warm colors help bring out her pelt color. I just love those streaks of blue coming off of her tail!

I've very glad to hear you like it, I wasn't exactly sure how I would draw her at first, but once I had her outline done, it all came together from there
And that's super cool that you like Owl City too, it's those songs that I usually listen too for inspiration for my artwork, as the music and lyrics paint such beautiful an surreal pictures for me in ever song I listen too
That's what I thought when I finished the piece and stepped back to get a good look at it. I felt that your character's bold markings would look nice against a gentle, blue and green setting, and I had so much fun with all that color! Thank you so much for commissioning me to do this, I had a blast with it!

*whew* I did something right then! As with all my backgrounds, I just started adding color until I had an idea of what to put where. Wanted to add some hot color into the cooler tones of the blue's and green's someway. A little goes a long way
