Awesome!, I think so too. Thankyou! Long and flowy and regal is probably why it fits a fantasy a lot better

Thank you so much! I honestly pull a lot towards that one too. There's something just so regal about braids, I really do wish that sometimes she was depicted with that style more as opposed to the long typical super-heroine locks.

I agree with you, there is a real diversity in African hairstyles that could really be represented (aside from Afro or short hair)  but I suspect they don't have that imagination or maybe don't want to? such a shame! As someone who is from a sub-saharian (I don't want to be too specific here)  country in Africa (born there, lived there for 18 years before moving out, parents still live there) AND from a country with so many ethnicities (256 to be precise) there is SUCH  a diversity in my country alone, so let's not even talk about hairstyles.  they could look up , google is there for that!

anyway, you did a great job my dear! really!

Tough call, but Im liking the middle one best. Probably because I did something similar years ago when drawing a D&D inspired X-Men. Guess Im biased.

I did mine like back in the very late 90s as part of a Wizard magazine challenge (is Wizard still a thing?). The idea was to put the X-Men into a different setting and as an avid roleplayer I went all D&D with it. I'll have to scan the image and post it here.

That's EFFING AWESOME. Please do! I'd love to see it.  I just like the idea of having a high-fantasy African highfantasy sort of RPG esque world

Ok so after only a year or so I finally posted this up. He's my Egyptian inspired Ororo and her super cool hair.
