I just felt like doing a sculpt of one. I can't help thinking they're the cutest things ever. ;____; *simpleminded*Polymer clay, baked, painted, glazed. EARS.

Ah, but the Simpleminded are amused easily. The ears are an engineering masterpiece! How did you get them to stay up while they baked?

They were just sculpted thickly enough (and with a slight curve to them) so that they didn't bend/melt. Super Sculpey and Sculpey Firm don't melt nearly as much as their lesser counterparts do.

I used to go to Arizona as a kid and see them in Zoos
And they have those great big ears and teh softest looking fur ever, and you want to snuggle them
Though they'd probably gnaw your face off if you tried TT__TT
I really like the texturing on this one, and his squinty eyes

I've always wanted one for a pet (fox? plus the EARS?) but they are rightfully ridiculously difficult to own legally. Alas!

Well, yeah, it's the same way people want lorikeets for pets. They're beautiful, but, uh... yeah. Well. Look that one up if you're curious. ^_^
Maybe I just noticed the fur more because brown is one of those colors that does lowlight washing really well.
