I dont know what it is with me and having the word "go" in all my deviation titles recently xD
a quick show entry i put together for Merman, for *zeunicorn1o 's New Year's Show
Merman needs CP points fast, so this is a last minute piece. Not my best work xD

Class entered: Advanced Showjumping

Name of Rider: Megan
Age: 9
Breed: Hanoverian
Gender: Stallion

Megan and Merman flew through their course. He knew his job, and he did it well. He cleared every fence with inches to spare. After every jump Megan was amazed. He worked just like he did at home, not spooked in the slightest by the new fences, footing, horses. She had ridden him before, but had never seen him like this. Each takeoff had more power than she could ever imagine, each landing so soft and gentle. They came up to the red and white fence, one that had worried Megan when walking the course.
Be careful Hannah had told her That fence is at a real odd angle
Megan tensed up, Merman's strides shortened. His neck flew into the air. Megan froze, she didn't know what to do. This entire time Merman had carried her through the course...she hadn't prepared for this.
But Merman was honest. He took off with a powerful leap, sooner than Megan expected. Her leg slid back, and she grabbed mane for her life. She pushed her heel down, trying desperately to save herself over the jump. Leaning onto Merman's neck for support, she was able to stay on the horse, and finish the course's closing circle. She closed her eyes and breathed a sigh of relief as she walked out of the ring.
