Just my personal opinion. I mean, I don't hate bacon like it was spawn of the devil, but I just believe it is a tad over-exaggerated. I still like bacon bits in salad and the occasional bacon cheeseburger. But I'm not all, "OMG BACON IS LYFE BRO." The bacon that most people treat like some kind of "gift of the gods" isn't even the best cut of the meat. It's actually the crappy meat of the pig.
Bacon's best left for breakfast, sandwiches, and salads. Anywhere else it's just ruining the flavor of the other foods.

Bacon is quite alright once in a while, like you said, in breakfast, sandwiches, and salads. And even then I'll only eat it a few times a week, other wise I get sick of it.

the pigs fucking eat their own shit and dead bodies (including their own pigs!) and have no sweat glands, so their sweat turns into fat instead..
