Wyra loves her amethyst carbuncle. She was positively enamored by how adorable and vicious the proto-carbuncle was...Fun fact about Wyra: she is a custom all-rounder class I created, a violet mage! Kinda a mix of blue/red magic plus some summoner and scholar thrown in. She basically steals magic she sees and adapts it into her own thing.
