Description
A spotted hyena mother holding her child gently.Spotted hyenas are very social animals and very careful mothers.
I haven't shaded a sketch just with my pencil for a long time, but when I sketched this I felt like giving this technique a try again.
Also it's a gift to my mother, who's the most important person to me.

I just read a poem in which the speaker praised her mother as an "alternate god" and then I saw this. Very lovely, and very loving.

Meine Mutter ist alles an Familie, was ich noch habe und der einzige Mensch, der immer da ist und immer für mich da sein wird, egal was passiert und egal was passiert ist.
Ich vermisse sie im Augenblick ganz schrecklich.
