Okay,guys.This is the final version of this piece. You can view the first coloring mishap in my scraps section.Here's my first fanart pic for Joss Whedon's new show, Dollhouse. I just hope it doesn't end up like Firefly.

I'm glad that Whedon got to actually finish the series but it did feel a bit rushed..

As much as I love the way you've drawn echo, and I understand why you did, because its obviously a very echocentric show. But maybe it would have been cool if you'd have drawn Topher, playing with plushies of all the dolls like november and victor and sierra and stuff, because honestly, hes just like a kid playing with his toys. Even though at the end of season 1 and in season 2 we begin to see that he does have some moral values, it never bothered him before.
Either that, or with Adelle playing with the plushies of everyone, just with the dark figure of Rossum looming over her...and Dominic could be put in a corner or something seeing as he was put in the attic.

Poor Alpha doll. Why does no one want to snuggle with him? I'd snuggle him over Ballard any day (though I suppose since he added Ballard to his identity, snuggling with him would be snuggling with Ballard)

Before Alpha's identity was known, he was shown as a faceless blood stained killer in Echo's memories. That's why I drew the doll with it's face ripped off and the knife in its hand.

Well, you know the reason Firefly failed.
Fox sabotaged the show by playing all the episode out of sync so that it didn't appear to make any sense. As for all of Joss Whedon's other children, eh. Buffy was fine at first, but then you couldn't continue to have her fight vampires every week. So you throw in a few demons. But wait, slayers only slay vampires! At least that what I was lead to believe from the original film. But hey, this is network television! Gotta' feed the sheep...I mean the masses! Besides, who cares about the original movie that inspired it anyway? Well, I do. I enjoyed it simplicity. Silly as all hell, but straight forward. It was meant to be that way. I think the show took a giant nosedive when they didn't play the trauma card to the hilt after Buffy was resurrected. The pain and the rage she must have felt deep down towards her friends for ripping her out of paradise would've take her character to new levels. But no, and so it fizzled out and went away.

it did have an effect on her, being dragged out of hell, Buffy became pretty much a selfish bitch in season 6 and 7, and used spike to make herself feel like she was apart of the world, and abused the friendships she had, especially with Xander and Willow. So it really did. As for the movie, you can't epect the show to be the same with the amount if shit Whedon had to put up with making the film, it was made clear that the show was what he had always entended the Slayer to be, NOT the movie.
