Watercolor, with acrylic for the white dots.Sharpie pen for outlining as well.
Based of an Air Gear credits page I found one day while I was on OneManga, LOL. I don't remember where or exactly what it was though. Just that it looked like this, somewhat.

the coloring isnt bad....
but the neck.... the anatomy just doesnt flow.
just keep in mind how teh bones and muscles line up, it should reallly help your art!
if you need help, just reference a manga or photo.
