Description Edit: This biography is incredibly out of date and is currently being rewritten!

My very first post on DA and of course it's ridiculously long lmao. Anyways, I'm so glad to finally be able to show off Mirai! I'm still working on her background, but I thought I might as well just post her now since all of her other info is done. I'll update this every time I finish another section. I hope you all like her, I adopted her from the very talented artist Miyuki-Tsukiyono c:

Personality: Even as a young child, Mirai knew how to connect with people and Pokémon on an emotional level. A loving, kindhearted person, she always does her best when it comes to those around her, always willing to listen and give advice. These connections are incredibly vital to her, especially as a Pokémon Trainer, since the bond shared between her and her Pokémon can more often than not mean a victory not only in battle but also in a relationship. Though she cannot connect quite as closely as she can with Pokémon, the relationships she has with her friends and family are also incredibly important, making sure to check up on them every so often. While more often than not she is incredibly sweet, she has the capability of becoming quite harsh, especially when it comes to the safety of her loved ones. Mirai isn't afraid to stand her ground against those she opposes, and will quickly shut anyone down if need be. Though she never wishes harm upon anyone, realistically she knows there will be people out there who she will have to harm. This has rarely ever happened, though, as she tries to keep herself out of danger and stay around those who she loves. People who are closest to her know her quite well, as she'll often gush to them about things that've recently gone on in her life; however, only her partner N has ever gotten to know truly everything about her, incredibly her insecurities and fears. He's the only person in her life other than her parents and Pokémon she completely trusts with all of her heart.

|History|

 Birthplace: Pewter City, Kanto
 Current Location: Nuvema Town, Unova
 Occupation: Assistant to Professor Juniper
 Background:

 [Childhood]
Mirai was born on August 8th in Pewter City - the same day the legendary Pokémon Ho-Oh flew across the city and dropped one of its Rainbow Wing's. Said to be a child of destiny, Mirai was named after who grandmother who also happened to be born the day Ho-Oh last flew across the region. Her mother, former elite trainer Chie Orr who had trained under Koga during his era as a gym leader, noticed right away the love and compassion her daughter had for Pokémon, and how easily she was able to connect with them. It reminded her of her own mother, who was once a researcher under Professor Elm. Before she could even crawl, Mirai was always wanting to be around Pokémon, attempting to get their attention or somehow manage to get over to them. When her father Henry Orr, head of the Pewter Museum of Science, saw the lengths she went to play with them, he believed she must have had a special connection to them. When she was old enough, and stopped trying to befriend every Pokémon, Mirai was enrolled into the Pewter Trainer's School where she excelled and was able to express herself more. Whenever she wasn't studying or hanging out with friends, she was often found wandering around the Pewter Museum of Science, gawking at everything on display. It was there her passion extended from just Pokémon to the world around her. Mirai studied hard throughout her time at the trainer's school, often times sacrificing her social life in order to maintain high grades; however, everything eventually paid off as she graduated with high honors and was one of three students chosen that year to receive a rare starter Pokémon from Professor Oak. As a graduation present, her father gave Mirai the Rainbow Feather found the day she was born as a good luck charm. Strewn into a necklace, she wore it at all times. Arriving at Oak's lab, she formally met the two other trainers who were chosen to receive a starter - a quiet girl named Rosa Baez who was from the next class over and the eccentric Nash Calver, who declared the both of them his rivals as soon as they met. Upon meeting Professor Oak, they learned they would also be receiving a Pokédex and were given the challenge the complete it. Mirai originally planned on choosing Squirtle as her starter, but after entering the outdoor portion of the lab, she was attracted to a tiny Charmander who sat alone in the corner. She chose him after finding out he was the runt of the litter and had been picked on by all of his older siblings, who all had been chosen at that point, leaving him to be the last one of his family. The two of them instantly connected, and Mirai named him Killian. With Nash choosing Bulbasaur and Rosa choosing Squirtle, they were sent off to start their journey as Pokémon trainers. But not before being forced to battle with Nash. As she rode the bus back to Pewter City, an unexpected encounter with Lorelei of the Elite Four helped Mirai realize her dream - to take on and defeat the Kanto League. With a promise to one day fight the Ice-Type Master, she returns home with a strong ambition. After talking it over with her parents, they somewhat hesitantly agree to let her go, as long as she stays out of serious danger and sticks to the paths. After a week of planning, training, and spending time with her parents, Mirai's official Kanto League journey begins.

 [Kanto]
Mirai's journey began at home in Pewter City, taking on Brock as her very first gym challenge. Spending time in Viridian Forest beforehand, Mirai was able to connect with her Pokémon in a way she never could before - through battling and training. It was a completely different sensation than before, as the bond she shared with Killian and her other Pokémon somehow connected them deeper on the battlefield, almost as they could sync up with each other's thoughts and feelings. After training for days on end and even evolving the Weedle she caught into a Beedrill, Mirai finally felt ready and took on Brock. Though somewhat of a rocky battle, Mirai was able to defeat him. With one badge in hand, she said goodbye to her friends, family, and hometown, and headed off for Cerulean City. From there, her journey only got harder as she attempted to take on the gyms while attempting to catch, befriend, and train her Pokémon. After almost losing to Misty in Cerulean City, Mirai realized she needed to take on a different approach on training. She found out there that it was more efficient to train each Pokémon almost individually to help them overcome their weaknesses and to perform better during battle as well as being able to create an even closer bond with them. Though it would take time, Mirai knew she would become a more effective and overall stronger trainer if she did this for her Pokémon, plus it meant being able to spend more time exploring each city. Before leaving Cerulean City, she ends up bumping into Nash who had also just received his badge. He challenged her to a battle, in which Mirai won, leaving Nash frustrated. Mirai heads for Saffron City, but due to construction, she's unable to enter the city and is forced to take the subway to Vermillion City. Once there, she decides to train before taking on the gym, which ends up in her favor as she sweeps Lt. Surge's entire team with her Graveler. Shocked by this outcome, Mirai wonders if her team is almost overpowered - until she gets to Saffron City, that is. Taking a detour route to Saffron City by passing through Lavender Town, which she only stays a night in due to the creepiness of the town and its people, she decides to take on the gym right away. Unlike her last battle, this ends very poorly, as both she and her Pokémon feel very unprepared and are quickly swept by the gym leader Sabrina's Alakazam. Sabrina suggests to Mirai that she needs to take her training more seriously, otherwise she'll never be strong enough to take on the League. Embarrassed and ashamed, Mirai heads for Celadon City, where she decides to rigorously train with her Pokémon for nearly a month until both she and her Pokémon feel ready to take on Sabrina again. Returning to the Saffron gym, Mirai gives Sabrina the rematch she was waiting for. Winning the second time around, Sabrina expresses her admiration to Mirai for improving so much only after a month, taking back everything she said about Mirai before. This boosts Mirai's spirit, leaving her pumped for all of the battles moving forward. While training in Saffron City, she bumps into Rosa, and challenges her to a fight. They end up in a draw with all of their Pokémon fainting, which surprises both girls. For the first time, Rosa expresses to Mirai that she considers her a real rival, and Mirai lets Rosa know the same. Heading back to Celadon City, with Killian now fully evolved into a Charizard, she takes on the gym leader Erika and wins. After spending a couple of days relaxing and shopping around the big city, Mirai takes the train to Fuchsia City. On her way to the Safari Zone, she runs into the current gym leader of the city, Janine, who happens to be the daughter of Koga. After finding out she's the daughter of Chie, Janine gushes about the time in her childhood when Mirai's mother was around, expressing how much she was influenced by her. Promising Janine a good fight, the two part ways with high expectations. After spending nearly half a month preparing, Mirai enter's the Fuchsia gym more fired up than ever before. It proves to be the most difficult battle yet as Mirai just barely wins against her. They exchange numbers afterward, Janine wishing Mirai the best of luck on the rest of her journey. Receiving the HM Fly as gift from Professor Oak, Mirai flies home to Pewter City to spend time with he friends and family for a couple of days. While there, she runs into Nash, who's returned home to take on Brock. He challenges her to a battle and almost wins, only losing because of a type disadvantage. After saying her goodbyes, she heads off to Cinnabar Island to get her seventh badge. Mirai spends several days in the Seafoam Isles training as well as searching for Articuno. With no avail in finding the bird, she challenges the gym leader Blaine and is able to beat him much faster than anticipated. Mirai decides to spend more time in the Isles to not only continue her search for Articuno but to also train for the last gym. Flying to Viridian City after believing she's ready, and again not being able to find the legendary Pokémon, Mirai takes on her final gym battle against former champion Gary. The spike in difficulty is rather astounding, with Mirai losing just barely after an intense battle. She takes her loss in with a grain of salt, wishing she had somehow prepared better, but pushes those thoughts aside as she spends a couple of weeks training along Route 12. Upon returning to Viridian City, Mirai takes on Gary with a high level of confidence and is able defeat him the second time around. Awarding Mirai with her last badge, Gary congratulates her on beating all eight gyms, and states that her strong passion for Pokémon reminds him of his old rival from when he was a young trainer. Feeling better than ever, Mirai heads back to Fuchsia City to train with Janine for a while in order to prepare herself for the Elite Four. Almost four months pass before Mirai even steps foot back in Viridian City, with all of her Pokémon fully evolved and equipped with their most powerful moves. Before passing through the gates to Victory Road, Rosa greets her at the entrance and challenges Mirai to a battle. Rosa loses more brutally than their last battle, but is still an extremely good sport about it. She heals Mirai's Pokémon before they part ways, both girls wishing each other luck on the road ahead. Everything from then on until she reaches the Indigo Plateau two days later feels like a blur, as the nerves begin to eat away at Mirai. Stocking up on her last goods, she gives a small pep-talk to her team before entering the first arena of the E4. To her surprise, Mirai is warmly greeted by Lorelei, who quite vividly remembers her. As the battle starts, Mirai feels rather calm and composed, feeling more connected with her team now than ever. Despite being the longest, hardest battle she's had yet, Mirai is able to come out victorious with only having three members of her team faint. Lorelei expresses earnestly how she knew this exact day would come, as she knew Mirai would one day be a powerful trainer just from that small encounter they had. Healing her Pokémon, Mirai thanks Lorelei before heading into the next arena. Before she can even step onto the platform, the Poisonous Ninja Master Koga announces to Mirai he knows exactly who she is - the daughter of his former student, Chie Orr. He exclaims this was a battle he had awaited since the day she was born, hoping to find the same strength he found in her mother. For the first time, Mirai feels the pressure, not wanting to disappoint her mother, her Pokémon, and Koga. The battle starts off well, with Killian taking down his Fortress in two shots; however, once he sends out his Crobat, things quickly escalate as it one-shots two of her Pokémon. Mirai attempts to keep calm, but as Koga spits harsh comments while more of her Pokémon goes down, she begins to panic and makes incredibly poor choices. The winner of the battle is clear from the moment he sent out his Crobat, as not long after her entire team is taken down, swept by a single one of his Pokémon. Mirai collapses to the floor, beginning to sob as Koga expresses his disappointment in her and discredits her worth as a trainer. He suggest taking on the Johto League before she even dares setting foot back in the Indigo Plateau again. Feeling like an absolite failure, Mirai heads home to Pewter City believing she let down everyone around her, Koga's words deeply rooting into her. A deep depression sinks in as she spends the winter season alone, with most of her days spent in bed feeling unmotivated. Though her mother expresses to her daughter multiple times she isn't disappointed in her, Mirai still feels great shame in losing to Koga after all of the hard work she had done. She even refuses to spend time with her own Pokémon, embarrassed of the way she acted and treated them during the battle. It isn't until Rosa and Nash visit her one day does her life not only change for the better, but forever. They let her know her true worth as Pokémon Trainer, someone who's kind, compassionate, and loving of the people and Pokémon around her, and how her ambition and passion motivated everyone around her to do her best. Nash expresses how much he looked up to her, how much she changed his life for the better, while Rosa feels blessed to have met someone so genuinely pure. After their long speech is over, they let Mirai know that she's the reason they have their own future ahead of them. This becomes incredibly emotional as Mirai begins to cry, giving them a heartfelt thank you and letting them know how much they mean to her. From then on, they are no longer just rivals, but best friends for life. She also apologizes to her Pokémon for being neglectful for so long and letting them know how much they mean to her. Spending a couple more months at home in order to feel better, Mirai plans for her next long journey. With a burning passion to defeat Koga, she decides to take his advice and take on the Johto League before returning to challenge the E4 again. Late Spring of that year, Mirai takes the bullet train to Goldenrod City in the Johto region.

[Johto]
Arriving in Goldenrod City, Mirai renews her Trainer Card and applies to take on the Johto League. While waiting for confirmation, she spends a few days exploring the city, training in the National Park, and learning more about the overall region. Once approved, she challenges Whitney of the Goldenrod Gym to a battle. The fight is surprisingly difficult as she struggles against Whitney's Miltank. Eventually finding a way to win, Mirai defeats her, but not before using up a good amount of potions and revives. The next day she heads to Azalea Town to take on the next gym; however, while making her way through Ilex Forest, she encounters the legendary Pokémon Celebi. It isn't there for long, as it vanishes before Mirai can even reach for a Pokéball. She decides to spend the next few days in the forest training in hopes of finding it again, but unfortunately she never does. Once in Azalea Town, she decides to take on Bugsy right away. It ends up being a much easier fight with Killian taking down most of his Pokémon. After a good day of rest, Mirai passes through the Union Cave and the Ruins of Alph on her way to Violet City. Once in the city, she attempts to enter the gym, but is stopped by an elder who tells her the only way to fight Falkner is to defeat the elder at the top of Sprout Tower. Though slightly annoyed by the situation, Mirai makes her way through the tower and faces the old man who was waiting at the top. An easy win impresses the elder, awarding her a Soothe Bell alongside the pass to enter the gym. The battle against Falkner goes well despite being somewhat underleveled. Afterwards, she debates on whether to go east to Cherryrgove City or west to Ecruteak City, wondering which would be the most efficient. A strong feeling tells her to push westward, so Mirai heads for Ecruteak. Once there, she takes time to visit many of the sites and learn about their history, and while on a tour of the Burned Tower, she's overcome by an oddly powerful sensation as they descends to the center. After finding out about its connection the Ho-Oh, Mirai heads over to the Barrier Station to try to and get into the Bell Tower; however, she's told she cannot enter unless she defeats the gym leader. Her battle with Morty is rather challenging even after training along Route 37, as his Gengar moveset and speed make it difficult to hit. Although she almost loses, her determination to learn more about Ho-Oh inspires her Pokémon to push themselves harder. Heading back to the Barrier Station, they let her pass through the Bellchime Trail to Bell Tower, but upon arriving at the entrance, the doors are shut tight and don't budge. Returning to the Barrier, she questions why it won't open, and they shortly reply she isn't worthy. Disappointed and incredibly frustrated, Mirai heads west to Olivine City in hopes of being able to enter the Bell Tower when she passes through again. As she makes her way through Route 39, she ends up running into Nash, who's on vacation visiting his grandparents. They catch up, and for old times sake, he challenges her to a battle. Mirai loses to him for the first time, and as she's congratulating him on finally being victorious, she realizes she's begun to slack off on training yet again. Once in Olivine, Mirai trains alongside Route 38 and 39 for quite a few weeks before even thinking about challenging the gym. As she prepares to face Jasmine, she one day hears about the Glitter Lighthouse's Ampharos falling ill. Wanting to help out, Mirai asks if there's anything she can do to help. Jasmine, delighted to hear this, graciously thanks her for helping and sends her off to Cianwood City to get special medicine only made there. As she passes through the Whirl Islands, Mirai gets terribly lost, somehow ending up in the deepest cavern where she accidentally awakens the legendary Pokémon Lugia. Enraged for being awoken from its slumber, Lugia attacks Mirai and her team, nearly killing all of them with its powerful moves. Only after they manage to weaken it slightly does it retreat underwater. Petrified, Mirai collapses out of shock and exhaustion. Despite being hurt themselves, her Pokémon help save her, managing to make their way through the Whirl Islands and to Cianwood while she's fainted. Once on the shores, the locals find them and take them to the Cianwood City Pharmacy where the elderly healer nurses Mirai back to health. It takes her nearly a day to regain consciousness, bawling when she found out what her Pokémon had done for her. The elderly woman, whose name is Aponi, takes her to the gym leader of Cianwood, Chuck. Mirai explains everything that happened from the time she left Olivine to fainting after fighting Lugia. Both of them are quite startled by this, with Aponi confirming what went down as she felt a strong shift in the tides and winds when the fight took place. Only when Mirai's strong enough is she sent back to Olivine with the medicine. As she passes through the Whirl Isles this time, she's more vigilant about her surroundings and stays cautious. Mirai quickly delivers the medicine to Jasmine as soon as she gets back to the city. The Ampharos' color returns as soon as its fed the medicine, relieving everyone in the room. It's after that Mirai explains why it took so long to bring the medicine back, leaving everyone in shock. Jasmine profusely apologizes for the danger she put Mirai in, asking her if there was anything she could do to make up for it. Sheepishly, Mirai just asks for a gym battle, unsure of what else to say. The fight with Jasmine ends up being an incredibly close call, keeping everyone on their feet throughout the battle, but ultimately ending with Killian defeating her Steelix. When given the Mineral Badge, she's also handed the Cianwood gym's Storm Badge. Confused, she asks why she was given this other badge, to which Jasmine replies that Chuck saw no need to battle someone who could take on a legendary Pokémon, so he mailed the badge over. For the second time that week Mirai bawls in appreciation, graciously thanking both Jasmine and Chuck. Before departing, she decides to write a thank you note to Chuck and gives it Jasmine to pass along. With only two more badges to go, Mirai makes her way to Mahogany Town, stopping in Ecruteak on her way there to see if she can enter the Bell Tower. This time, she cannot even pass through the Barrier, as it's temporarily closed and the elderly men who guard it are nowhere to be found. Giving up on the idea of entering the tower, she continues on through Mt. Motar to get to Mahogany Town. Upon arriving, she quickly notices how desolate the town seems to be and asks someone where everyone is after finding out even the gym leader isn’t around. The person points her in the direction of Rage Lake where all the locals flocked to in order to catch a glimpse of the red Gyarados.

|Relationships|

 Status: Taken
 Family:
  • Chie Orr - Mirai has always been incredibly with her mother, as the two of them are incredibly similar in terms of personality. They have many of the same interests, including sewing and shopping. While not as close as they were during her childhood, Mirai still talks to her mother at least once or twice a week, giving each other updates on how life is going. Her mother has always been an inspiration to her and hopes to be exactly like her one day.
  • Henry Orr - Despite being closer with her mother, Mirai still has an incredibly strong bond with her father and believes he is the reason for many of her morals as well as ideologies. He is one of the kindest, most thoughtful people she's ever met, looking up to him in every way possible. They don't speak once or twice a week like Mirai does with her mother, but she still makes time to call and talk to him personally to see how things have been for him.
 Partner:
  • N - To Mirai, N is the most important person in her life other than her parents. Having gone through so much together, and sharing the same ability to connect with Pokémon, they grew incredibly close. Mirai sees N as more than just a partner - he's her best friend. Helping him rehabilitate after his time in Team Plasma, she was able to share many of her interests with him, a lot of which he enjoyed. Her goal is to one day help him move past his trauma and help him live life as a normal person.
 Friends:
  • Bianca - Working alongside her under Professor Juniper, Mirai was able to become incredibly close with Bianca. They were able to bond over their love of eating kare pan and going shopping, which they would often do after work. Bianca is a nice foil to Mirai, whose more of an extrovert and confident in herself, since she's introverted and has a hard time believing in herself. Both girls do their best to support each other no matter what.
  • Cheren - Mirai has always been impressed with Cheren's ability as a trainer, both of them holding a high respect for each other. While she isn't as close to him as she is with Bianca, they still hang out from time-to-time, though Bianca is usually with them. Whenever he isn't busy with his gym, they occasionally go out for tea and talk about recent trainer events and news.
  • Hilda - As one of the few people who've earned a Champion's Certificate, Mirai considers Hilda to be one of her idols and inspirations. They were able to become good friends from Cheren and Bianca, always getting together whenever she's in town. They'll often share strategies with each other, and sometimes Cheren if he chooses to tag along, but one of their favorite things to talk about is books. It was through their love of books that they were able to bond and become better friends.
 Overseers:
  • Professor Juniper - Incredibly grateful for all that she's done for her, Mirai has a very close teacher-student relationship with Professor Juniper. She was able to find her true passion through the professor and thoroughly enjoys her job researching the origins of Pokémon and traveling across the region to learn about them. Mirai hopes to one day become as great as a Pokémon researcher as Juniper.
  • Professor Oak - Since the beginning of her journey in the Kanto region to helping defeat Ghetsis in Giant Chasm, Oak has always been somebody to help Mirai out in a time of need. Throughout the years, he's been able to guide her in each region and help navigate her way around. She's grown quite fond of him, and though she would never say this to his face, she sees him like a grandfather.
 Rivals:
  • Nash Calver - Mirai, at first, wasn't very fond of Nash, but as journeyed across the region and battled him a few times, she came to respect him as a trainer and a human being. After sitting down and genuinely talking to him, they both found out that had many things in common. He'll occasionally call her every now-and-again, but it's usually just to see when she'll be back to Kanto so they can battle again.
  • Rosa Baez - Even though they had never declared themselves rivals, Mirai and Rosa thought of each other as such long before they even received their first Pokémon; however, it wasn't until well into their journey did they consider each other genuine rivals - those who are friends with each other. They both respect each other's ability and will gladly cheer each other on. They don't talk often, but when they do, it's rather nostalgic of their first journey.
  • Kayleigh - It wasn't until after they spoke for the first time at the Slateport City did they consider each other not only friends but rivals. Whenever they weren't pitted together, they rooted for each other and wanted the other to win. Mirai had even developed a small crush on her when they became closer, but after finding out she had a boyfriend, the feelings she had for Kayleigh vanished. The two still talk often, always talking about what's going on in their lives.
 Enemies:
  • Ghetsis - Mirai has a strong hatred for Team Plasma, but an even stronger hatred for Ghetsis. It isn't until after his defeat in the Giant Chasm, when she's able to truly get to know N and all that he suffered through, does she begin to loathe Ghetsis. Despite being him being mentally unstable, Mirai strongly believes he should be locked up for good for his crimes against the Unova region and especially for what he did to N.

|Pokémon|

   Main Pokémon

 Killian the Charizard
 Gender: Male
 Nature: Hasty
Moveset: Flamethrower | Dragon Pulse | Fly | Brick Break
Personality: A haughty, conceited, and an overall stubborn Pokémon, Killian has a fiery personality that never dies. There are few things he genuinely cares about in the world, and Mirai just so happens to be one of them. After being saved from an abusive situation at Professor Oak's lab, he's had a close bond with Mirai ever since. He considers her his whole world and is the only person he shows his softer side to. He'll become insanely jealous whenever someone else tries to give her affection, becoming very over-protective and pissed. When it comes to the rest of the team, Killian is rather aggressive and will snap at them if they bother him or even come too close. Nix and Prince are the only ones on the team he can slightly tolerate while the rest irk him to no end, especially Lupin (who he's constantly trying to fight). His attitude derives from his day as a Charmander in Oak's lab, where he was picked on by the other Pokémon and constantly attacked, leaving pent-up anger and trust issues. This is why Mirai is the only person he's chose to trust and become close to, as deep down he fears the rest of the team will belittle and mock him like back in the lab.

 Sinclair the Sceptile
 Gender: Male
 Nature: Relaxed
Moveset: Leaf Blade | X-Scissor | Giga Drain | Thunder Punch
Personality: By far the most laidback of the team, Sinclair is almost too care-free to be on the team. While not a lazy Pokémon, it often takes Mirai one or two times to get him to do what needs to be done, especially if it's something he doesn't want to do. This stems from living the luxurious life in Mauville City as the pet of a rich man, who ended up tossing him aside to Mirai as he wasn't needed anymore. Starting off doing contests, Sinclair has never been the biggest fan of actual battles, but if he gets motivated to train, he'll put a lot of time and energy into it. He in no way disrespects Mirai or the rest of the team, as he actually looks up to them quite a bit, but a lack of motivation will often time burn him out doing any sort of unenjoyable activity. Sinclair definitely prefers relaxing in the shade under the tree with everyone than going forth into battle.

 Nix the Empoleon
 Gender: Female
 Nature: Serious
Moveset: Drill Peck | Hydro Pump | Ice Beam | Steel Wing
Personality: Serious as can be with a knack for battle, Nix is considered the unofficial leader of Mirai's team. One of the strongest members of the team, her sharp-thinking and quick feet make her an incredibly strategic fighter, making her a dangerous opponent on the battlefield. Training to get stronger is what she enjoys most, doing mock battles with the rest of the team to not only help her improve but for their sake as well. She attempts to be on good terms with everyone, as she believes that will make them stronger in the long run. She has a strong respect for Mirai, as they have a similar ideology when it comes to battling, and that's mostly because Nix has only known Mirai her whole life as she was given to Mirai as an egg by one of the many Sinnoh daycares.

Prince the Sylveon
Gender: Male
Nature: Calm
Moveset: Moonblast | Toxic | Psyschock | Hyper Voice
Personality: When it comes to Prince, his suave, elegance, and charm outshines everyone else. He's an absolute gentleman, treating everyone with the upmost respect and seeing everyone as equals. Coming from a long line of Eevee specifically bred for royalty, he was given to Mirai as a gift after helping the owner of the Parfum Palace's lost Furfrou. She instantly fell in love with him, which led to him evolving into a Sylveon not long after they met. While he he isn't the biggest fan of battling, when he's on the battlefield, he's an absolute monster. Rin is the Pokémon he's fondest of on the team, spending as much time with her whenever possible due to her sweet, loving nature.

 Lupin the (Day) Lycanroc
 Gender: Male
 Nature: Brave
Moveset: Accelerock | Rock Slide | Fire Fang | Crunch
Personality: Lupin is as loyal as can be, putting full trust in Mirai and the rest of the team. While he can discern what's wrong from right, even pointing out the wrong in a situation, he believes every choice made is one that's in best interest and will stand by their side. After almost being killed by a Gumshoos as a Rockruff in Ten Carat Hill, Lupin has never left Mirai's side after she saved him. He owes her his life, vowing to be with her for as long as he lives. He's also quite a charmer, as he deeply cares about everyone and expresses so very often, making him one of the team's favorites. This pisses off Killian quite a bit, as Lupin doesn't ever stray too far by Mirai's side, and the two of them will sometimes be seen in a confrontation that leads to nowhere as the Lycanroc simply ignores him.

 Rowan the Krookodile
 Gender: Female
 Nature: Quirky
Moveset: Earthquake | Foul Play | Sludge Bomb | Stealth Rock
Personality: Able to stand up to anyone in her way, Rowan is a rowdy, wild Krookodile that doesn't care what anyone else thinks of her. Captured as a Krokorok in the Desert Resort outside Nimbasa City, she was at first very against being used by a trainer. It wasn't until she fought against Elesa did she start to enjoy Mirai and the rest of the team's presence, seeing they all shared a strong passion for battling like her. One of her absolute favorite things to do is to annoy Killian until they start fighting, as the rush of both of their anger gets her hyped. The only person she shows somewhat of a softer side with is Joy, as she's head-over-heels for the Beedrill and will do anything for her.

Boxed Pokémon

 Rin the Delcatty
 Gender: Female
 Nature: Gentle
Moveset: Thunderbolt | Calm Mind | Ice Beam | Shadow Ball
Personality: Rin is considered the seventh member of the team due to her motherly, loving nature. She is a kindred soul who deeply cares about the rest of the Pokémon on the team, spending time with them to get to know them better and doing as much as she can to help them get stronger. Bred for contests, Mirai adopted her during her days as a coordinator in the Hoenn region, using her as the star of the show due to her ability to learn a vast number of moves. Even after retiring, Rin still loves making a performance out of her battles, putting on a show even if nobody else is around. Out of all of the members of the team, the one she's closest with is Prince and will often be found with him.

 Haru the Lucario
 Gender: Male
 Nature: Serious
Moveset: Water Pulse | Extreme Speed | Aura Sphere | Bone Rush
Personality: Out of all the Pokémon Mirai's ever caught, Haru is the most peculiar. He was the one who found Mirai outside of Santalune City in Route 22, approaching her as she waded through the tall grass and going as far as to steal a Pokéball in her bag so she could catch him. He doesn't typically spend time around the other people or Pokémon, instead choosing to spend his time alone and watch everything from afar. Only when an issue arises, does he choose to intervene himself. To this day, Mirai isn't exactly sure why he chose her, but she strongly believes that it was because of the fact that Sycamore said they share a similar aura.

 Joyous the Beedrill
 Gender: Female
 Nature: Jolly
Moveset: Poison Jab | Toxic Spikes | U-Turn | Aerial Ace
Personality: Joy is truly a joy to be around, as her bubbly, energetic personality keeps everyone in a good mood. Being the very first Pokémon Mirai ever caught, the two of them have a bond almost as strong as Killian's. Originally intended to be a placeholder until she found stronger Pokémon, Mirai quickly realized that Joy was an asset to the team and traveled alongside her throughout to Kanto and Johto regions. While nowadays she spends most of the time in the PC Box, Joy will often be switched out when it comes to certain jobs or even battles Mirai has to do. During her time out of the box, she managed to form a very odd, yet very loving, relationship with Rowan.

 Eclipse the Zorua
 Gender: Female
 Nature: Timid
 Moveset: Pursuit | Scratch | Leer | N/A
Personality: Found abandoned and chained up behind a building in Striaton City, Eclipse was on the verge of death when Mirai and N appeared. Rushing her the the Pokécenter, they managed to save her life that day and tried to free her back into the wild; however, the Zorua refused to leave Mirai's side and, suggested by N, ended up coming home with her. Being as small and frail as she is, it was quickly decided that Eclipse would be a "pet" rather than a member of the team. With a strong fear of nearly everything, including battling and even being in her Pokéball, Eclipse will more than often choose to stay inside whenever Mirai goes out. There are very few people and Pokémon she feels comfortable around, with Rin being one of them. She considers the Delcatty to be her mother figure and will stick by her side whenever she's around.

i love this so much! it's simple, yet unique, and very cute. your art is also SUPER faithful to the style of the pokemon artwork, so much that I thought this was a render of an official character   I can tell that a lot of thought and care has been put into this, good job!
