For once, the white tom shrugged the insult off. "Oh, I so bet I could." He raised a paw to cuff the dusty brown warrior's ears.

For some reason, I've always pictured these guys as buddies xD They're both hotheaded jerks who are madly in love with their mates and are fiercely protective of their kits (or in Cloudy's case, kit) and resented Firestar at one point in time.
