Okami is a masterpiece. It is a work of art, and anyone who has not played it MUST try it out, whether it's the old PS2 version or the HD version on PS3. This game is an experience, you don't want it to end, and when it does end you just want more! That feeling is amazing, and actually very few games give this feeling to the player. You get sucked into the story, the characters pull you in, and when it's time to let go, your heart stays there.

It was this game, years ago on my PS2, that brought me into the Japanese mythology and culture, and I've learned so much about it since then and I am so grateful that this game showed it to me. This game only fuelled my wish to one day go to Japan, and one day I WILL go to Japan.

For this portrait I went with Ninetails, who possibly had the best arc in the game with Ryoshima Coast and Sei-An City and has my favourite boss battle theme, and I went with a sort of different style for this one. I wanted it to be reminiscent of the style of the game while also keeping it in my own style, and I quite like the result!
