completely. yea the character that she killed made me so upset.... i was like HOW CAN YOU DO THAT!!!!!! but then i'm a sucker for both happy endings and tragedies so i would have been happy either way.

Me too. Actually I prefer tragedies over happy endings, it seems like the story stays with me longer when it ends on a sad note. It gives me more to think over, and the whole thing seems more meaningful, somehow ... So even though it was painful to read, if I could go back in time and persuade Libba Bray to bring you-know-who back to life or in any other way give The Sweet Far Thing an alternate ending, I wouldn't choose to.
