This past year has been full of twists and turns for me. Some have been simply wonderful, and some have been horrible and heartbreaking.

One of the best has been finding .

I only got to sit in on one of her classes this year, but I learned a lot of new techniques, and discovered how to get over my social anxieties and petty phobias about my work. In whole, I've become a better artist.

As my way of saying thanks, I sat down the other night and started fiddling with some of the methods she went over in her lessons. I wanted to make something for her.

So, borrowing her own character, Mishenka, I rolled him over into my own style, and set to work on developing my new skillset.

Here is the end result.

I only had two references with me while I worked, so I apologise for any glaring mistakes. I hope it looks as good on your monitor as it does on mine.

So, thank you very much for a great year. (:
