Yaaay! My entry for \'s new contest~
We had to do something summer-ey.

So I worked, ALL night last night, this took me about 3 and a half hours.
But It was so worth it.
I might post an updated version later.
There are somethings I wanna clean up before the contest, but I was too tired last night, and I really wanted to show this.

I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it.

And guess what?
I FOUND A NEW STYLE OF EYES.
I\'ve been trying to SO long, and SO hard, and while I was using \'s eye tutorial, I found a way to draw my eyes that suited me .

See! I used it on Cinder\'s eyes.

Okay, we have here, a kitten Cinderstar and kitten Chaosstar watching fireflies.

Kittens because I find them really innocent :3

When your little, and you see fireflies for the first time. There\'s always this sort of magic in the air, that sort off goes away, or lessens when you get older.

Originally JUST Cinders. But she looked lonely, so I added Chaos.

I sketched a draft, usng like 6 layers, merged them.

And did what I call my \"purple draft\" which is a slightly neater sketch in purple :3 Cuz I like dat color.

Then I tried to do lineart, but it didn\'t come quite as well as my purple draft.

So I neatend up some of the lines, and made them black~
Then it became my lineart X3

I added Cinder\'s scars and stuff...Well at least the ones that you can see. The one across her eye, and the two across her muzzle (that came out sort off weird)

Also, it took me a LOT of practice to get the perspective right XD
I had the idea in my head for a long time, so I practiced doodled at school.

Goosh, times like this I wish I had a cat XD

Er what else...Oh!

Chaosstar\'s eyes are sheeny and pretty like Cinder\'s because-
1. He has DULL gray eyes, they don\'t shine a lot.
2. I did his eyes in such an odd shape and shade, that the technique was giving me too much grief :c

Guess what songs I listened to for Inspiration?

Dat\'s right.

Fireflies by Owl City ( Which lyrics can be seem up in the picture)
Christmas Song by Owl City
Rainbow Veins by Owl City
Lol, and Yellow by Coldplay (which were the lyrics in a picture I did for CalCal , but I didn\'t know the name of the song)

XD Owl City addiction much?

Gah!!! They have such happy, mood-lifting music!
The next thing on my playlist was a long row of Sweeney Todd songs.

I just kept playing Owl City over and over again, because I knew the Sweeney Todd might compel me to darken the picture o.e

Anyway.

I had soo much fun doing it! Even through all the hard spots~
