Yay, another picture which I finished half a year ago and only now upload.. Why am I so lazy when it comes to uploading? Well, I know why, and that's coz I know I worked my butt off to make it and no-one will end up seeing it. But there's only one way to change that so.. Here goes!

Hope you guys like my little desert prince And yeah I know, my backgrounds are always boring and plain, I will try and be more interesting in the future!

Oh man. This is awesome. It is so magical! I love the backlighting and the background color choice too! You did so well portraying the Arabian horse, and his spirit is captured beautifully in this painting! I can't believe how perfect the name for this picture is! I love the whole desert/Arabia thing goin on here. I can totally picture him either free in the desert, enjoying his royal-ness or in a stone palace, as the prized possesion of a king or prince. This picture makes me think of Aladdin, gone way sophisticated of course, lol. I like how he looks almost sad, but more like he is reminiscing on... his rule? his wild family now that he is captive? how he is going to find water? Any story could fit in here, and the emotion would remain. Absolutely fabulous! *hugs* (I can't figure out the advanced emoticons on DA, they are too confusing, though i love them! )

People can draw things really well and still be createing art, but people who can tell a story with their pictures are truly artists. Well, something like that anyways.

Glad you like it :3 Sometimes I guess it's better to leave the background plain if you want the attention to be on the actual object (or horse!). And of course, Arabians are one of my favourites too

It's so beautiful His face looks really elegant and noble, arabians have this something special in their look and I adore how you portrayed it

By the way I really love how you use white lines in your arts it made them looks so soft! When I come back home in the end of this weekend and this art won't have as many faves as it should have I'll give you a feature in my journal to be a little help in changing this situation....

Thank you for your kind words And yeah, I tend to always use some sort of lines around my characters, but black is often too dark and "cartoony" for me nowadays, although I often go back to it anyway

And a thousand thanks in advance if you decided to feature my art Although you don't have to, but it would be very appreciated - I don't seem to manage getting that many views on my own

this is great, his pose is beautiful and his eye is...well his eye is completely perfect. The shading is just spot on and I like the simple background it brings the eye more to the gorgeous horse. You did an amazing job.

Aww thank you I really did run out of inspiration for the background once I was finished with the horse, and sort of had enough with the whole picture, so I just put something simple there. I'm glad if it didn't completely ruin it!

Thank you I think i repainted the eye like 5 times all together before I was happy with it. Like they say, is the mirror of the soul, and I think it can make or break the whole image sometimes!
