Description
Illustration from the New Mutants and the X-Terminators.

The New Mutants go to the beach and they want to play with Illyana. Ship suggests them to dress as Disney characters.

Julio Esteban Richter (Rictor), from Mexico, is Panchito Pistoles.

Roberto da Costa (Sunspot), from Brazil, is José Carioca.

Rusty Collins, from the United States, is Donald Duck.

Sam Guthrie (Cannonball), also from the United States, is Mickey Mouse.

Warlock, from outer space, is Stitch.

When I first thought about drawing this, I did not realize the timing matched the World Cup in Brazil. But then, when it was already inked and scanned, and it was waiting in the to-be-colored queue, I thought I should finish this next. And here is the result.

I like this one too.  The one on the far right looks so cool and smug haha.

Yup. That's Roberto.

He was/is arrogant, and both Charles and Magneto thought he was the most likely to become evil because of that.

Girls did comment about his arrogance, but even knowing he was posing and that, they also commented he was cute.

You give your characters bios right?  Or is Roberto a comic book character?

Existing character from Marvel Comics' X-Men.

I do not create characters. If I did, I would not write bios unless I intended to actually use them in a story, and I have no time for anything ongoing.

I see...  Is he always wearing so little?

Nope. His uniform when he's in a battle. Normal everyday clothes when not.

A few times he wore swimsuits, though. And one time, Boom Boom made the back of his pants explode, exposing his bum.

Sorry, late reply.  That last part sounds funny and painful lol.

His pride felt the most pain. Everybody laughed at him. Even if they acknowledged the view itself was not bad at all.

The proportions are particularly nice.

It must have been a very useful photo.

They are? Well with a mouse this was hard to draw... I need to redo it maybe.  I thought you were going to say it looks terrible. But any way, yeah the photo was good.  Although now I no longer have it.

I know how hard it is to create lines with a mouse. I have tried it and it simply is not cool.

Was it an online photo or is it a friend?

Cesar-Hernandez In reply to MoiraBrandon [2014-06-23 16:37:49 +0000 UTC]

Jejejeje.

Thank you. I don't remember my first option for Warlock's shape. I was limiting myself to characters existing in 1988.

But then I remembered it does not matter and chose Stitch, since he comes from space.
