Is it me, or does the whole "I found jesus" thing kind of lessened his hotness?
Like, I was hoping if he did convert, he would still keep his bad ass personalities. This Fitz... seems like a sweet guy, and I'm not used to that.
I like that Clare was able to forgive him. She seems like she would never hold a long grudge, and Eli has to accept that about her.

one scene freaked me out a bit. The one where Clare is walking up to the school and asks Eli "what's are you doing". And he replies back to her... It felt kind of creepy.

Overall, I CANNOT WAIT FOR PART 2!!!!!!!

I thought Fitz sounded kind of... brainwashed. Like he just seemed to be repeating everything he was told, you know? I don't know if that was the writers' intent, or if it was simply James' acting, or what... but Fitz seemed really off to me.

Then there's the promo(s) for part 2, which make it seem like he's like... obsessed with Clare or something, and cyberstalking her or whatever.

I'm glad she forgave him. A lot of people got all pissy that she did because of what he did to Eli, and claimed that she was being OOC, but I'm just like... when has Clare ever NOT been a forgiving person? That's ALWAYS been an aspect of her character, and is in no way OOC.

Yeah, Eli's acting a bit creepy too. I know he's trying to protect her, and obviously sees Fitz as a threat who could potentially hurt her, but I don't think he realizes just how far he's taking it. You know?

I can't wait for Friday, though.

oh my freaking god. Eclare is over by next season. Why else would they hint strongly at Eli's unstable mind and wrongness for Clare.

I hope my assumptions wrong, but I see it.

Poor Clare, she can never be happy. :/

Fitz... he looks so cute! And so sweet! I just loved that he basically proclaimed his love to her. But I have to say, he sounded pretty stupid when he yelled at Eli "We have a connection" Like me and my friends smacked our foreheads.

Eli is just so-creepy. BUT! you know what though, I liked the ending to his story. Seems original. Besides that, you think that story is foreshadowing something? I don't think he would kill her, but they had to have written that line for another reasons (besides the scary factor). Haha you should totally write up a fic relating to his book. (I figure everyone is going to do that anyways by tomorrow. lol)

All I know, the episode made me hold my breath the whole way through. And for that, Good job degrassi writers. Good job.

It was a good episode, but it left me feeling very... unsettled.

I think there's definitely something wrong with Eli, and it's been in the back of my head since Try Honesty. I think he needs to get help. But I still believe that he and Clare are meant to be together, you know? Like I really want them to be endgame - even if they break up, I want them to get back together eventully.

Clare always seems to get stuck being the rock. Like Eli said he was hers, but... she's pretty much the only thing keeping him stable. She was KC's rock and he took her for granted and left her for Jenna. Now she's Eli's, and apparently Fitz's. Except with Fitz... I think Fitz genuinely likes her, and has since the Boiling Point, and really does want to change... but I also think he's latching onto her as a sort of... salvation, for lack of a better word. Does that make sense? It's 3:30 in the morning, so...

I WAS SO RIGHT ABOUT HIM HAVING AN ABUSIVE HOME LIFE THOUGH! Except I just assumed it was gonna be his dad/step-dad. But when he lifted his shirt and we saw those bruises, my jaw just dropped.

Eli was really creepy in "Jesus, Etc." I agree. I don't even know what to predict from him. I don't think he's going to kill her, or even hurt her, but I do think that his story probably has something to do with Julia.

Hah, I might if I ever think of something... (there are a couple floating around FFN that I've seen... more to come tomorrow probably.)

I do hope that they end up getting married at Clare's senior year or something. You know, what spinner tried to do with Jane? Only it have Clare saying yes. I know a couple of people who do wed right out of highschool(not involving a baby on the way), so it's not such a crazy idea...
The Exec of Degrassi did say his favorite thing as of right now is Eclare. I hope he continues that...

And omg. As soon as my friends and I saw the bruises we put a bet right then and there. I agreed with you that it was an abusive parents, or family member. My other friend said that it was a friend that hated his new love of god and was sick of him. In the end we were both half right. lol.

I honestly I thing that too, he says its all about Clare... but I think it's all about Julia. Everything can link back to her. :/
All I know is I hope Eli, by next season, does not date some random new cast member. It would seem unfair to have Eli be crazy for clare on one season, and the next season completely normal for another girl.

omg that's the same thing I was thinking. Me and my friends couldn't tell if it was just the actors fault (he plays a bully better than anything!) or Fitz being trying to be real with Clare.

I could be happy with either scenario i think. but not knowing which is actually happening is killing me! lol.

Yeah I don't get how people can completely bash on either character!

Eli has his reasons for being crazy. His girlfriend freakin died! Anyone who has lost someone close to them obviously is fearful of losing people. Even if a year or two passed. Shoot, I still cry when I see a kitty that resembles my cat who died. (then again I get emotional bout the little things in life. lol.

Clare's reaction to Eli's crazy behavior is normal too! It's not her fault she fell in love with an unstable person. And It's not her fault that she can't handle the emotional in one throw. It seems logical to take breaks, and start new. A breather. It could only benefit the two.

I swear I feel like there is a line. Team Eli. Team Fitz. Team Clare. And Team once-liked-eclare-but-is-sick-of-it-now. lol

yeah i completely agree I couldn't choose a side if I wanted to. I can totally understand both of them in this situation, and I love both of them equally too much to chose a side anyway >__< I'm simply team ECLARE. lol.

I actually think its kind of cute that Eli is being ridiculously overprotective of Clare. xD

But I know the two will figure it out. they always do, and then come out stronger in the end <3333

Yup, I just feel bad for the whole bunch!

One thing I wish right now, I wish Clare would have her own plot. I love her to pieces and seeing that everything involves Eli... makes me feel like they are eachothers sidekicks.

Usually, I wouldn't worry much about cannon couples because I feel like the writers know they can't mess it up in the end. But after seeing Emma marry Spinner... I'm starting to worry.

I honestly hope that the writers don't screw us over in the end.

I think he found god. But maybe not for the reasons we think? That's what I want to know. People might say it's because of Clare (that he likes her) but who knows...

All I think, seeing the promos. That he isn't after Eli. And for that I'm thankful, because it would make Eli be the villain. And that deepens his character a little more :3
